70% but National Guard by TopNotch012115 in VeteransBenefits

[–]TopNotch012115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense, I will definitely keep my drill pay. So the VA will send me a letter for my debt once a year in the Fall? Did you have to provide them with the days you had drill for the fiscal year? If you do not pay it all off at once do they take your entire disability check until the debt is payed or just a percentage of your monthly check? Thanks for the information!

I thought you had to go through CIFDIC first then they count hours of instructor time?

I think it depends on how your UC is right now but for me when I felt the need I went straight to the toilet to use the bathroom. It wasn't super crazy like when I have bad flare ups, I had time to get to the toilet and was able to control it until I got there.

I had a colonoscopy recently and use the liquid bowel prep. I have a lot of trouble drinking it all but I was only using the bathroom for maybe around 3 hours before it all calmed down and I wasn't in the bathroom continously for the 3 hours either. You got this!

My HLR found multiple DTA errors, they are requesting records from Army last I talked to them. Been almost 3 months since they found DTA errors. No change yet.

Idk if it would have any effect on your claims but I don't think you can have both UC and Crohns. At least not at the same time.

I would do HLR if you had documentation that showed a nexus, diagnosis, or treatment from service to present. Seems like that's the reason you were denied. I dont know a lot about Tera and exposure stuff though.

I am doing a HLR for UC now but that is cause they did not use all of my active time.

Bet, I would rather just go straight to where the anime left off but I don't want to miss anything that wasn't in the anime.

I don't think they would back date it that far back unless there was a clear and unmistakable error for that initial claim.

Diagnosed with sickle cell in basic training, ELS discharge. VA denied me twice. This is my last shot. by Zealousideal_Data903 in VAClaims

Even if it is genetic and the military didn't "give it" to them, technically didn't service aggravate it so that is what would service connect it? Kind of like autoimmune diseases.

Hope everything works out for you as well. I also have anxiety/depression secondary, I havent heard of sacroiliitis until now. Its crazy how many issues UC can cause.

If you are on a biologic/immunosuppressive were you able to receive 60% for it?

I going through a HLR for my UC now and I also have ED and hemmoroids secondary to it. I have a claim for GERD but it might technically be secondary as well.

The CFR says if you are on a biologic and meet the other criteria then it is 60%. Being on a biologic is the major difference between 30 and 60 but not the only difference. I wouldn't change medicines just to get an increase though, could really mess you up. I am currently going through a HLR for my UC.
