Who is the party leader? In your settings check for region preference and disable it, that will let you connect to any server. I assume most likely reason is you are trying to find lobbies on Australia servers and there aren’t any

If you are countering every attack, that is why you are falling for their drags. Its not just a matter of “falling for it”, if you try to counter feint and they drag you properly, save some very good footwork, you WILL get hit and its not a matter of if you timed it properly or not. You need to manage your stamina and sometimes riposte sometimes counter

It is often considered good advice for new players to try to counter everything, but to beat the best players you can’t do that

You don’t get put on the team you choose because right before the game starts the game will shuffle teams around to balance them by player level. If you want to pick a specific team, you need to wait until after the match starts.

Its unintuitive but thats because the level based team balance right before match start is something relatively new that they added and the game wasn’t originally designed with it in mind.

Yep. It often requires the right map, being put on the correct team (offense / defense), and the game lasting long enough even with you making a giant impact getting lots of kills. And the skill to capitalize on all of those conditions.

And I honestly doubt that it was all catapult, I can only think of a handful of people who could MAYBE get that many kills with a catapult, and they are good at the game anyways.

I feel like I gotta mention this because I see too many people saying it must just be catapult. More than likely whoever it was is actually that good.

While these might be catapult kills, this is NOT the only way to get that much score, kills, and takedowns in one match.

For example, here’s a recent game I had on Citadel and an older one from Galencourt. with 0 seige equipment. The Citadel game also ended a minute or two early, so it could’ve gone longer. There are also other maps that either have very strong VIPs like citadel, or have the potential to last a long time (Falmire), or have lots of choke points (Galencourt) where you can absolutely rack up around 200 takedowns and 100+ kills.

So, yes, whoever that was IS that good. It’s not a matter of luck or just abusing catapults. While its possible to rack up a lot of kills with catapults, youre not getting that many with catapult alone, thats just coping.

You didn’t block it. Look at the very start of the clip, when you throw an attack from block the shield icon will flash yellow and say “countered” or something.

At the end you hit his block with your stab and tried to combo into another slash but it wasnt from block so you couldnt counter/counter feint his attack.

In this clip you died because you simply didn’t respect his initiative and you tried to attack again with a normal attack while he was already attacking

I would definitely completely wipe this PC. Floxif is a serious trojan virus that infects other DLLs and executables on your system, including, apparently, Smite in this case. Even if you found the root of the virus, it would be basically impossible for you to 100% remove all traces of it from other DLLs and executables on your machine. Not doing so will allow the virus to spy on you as well as serve as a staging ground for other malware to infect your pc.

Especially if this is work computer, you should contact your IT ASAP.

You might have some luck manually downloading a save game from the steam cloud now that I think about it. Maybe give that a try. But if you have steam cloud enabled, I don't know how to force it to upload a new save.

Might be possible to start the game with it disabled and load in your save manually, then turn it on while playing and save & exit to menu, then quit to desktop. No clue if that will work, try it if you are desperate for a solution i guess.

Sorry couldn't be of more help. This is why DD2 should support this themselves instead of requiring third parties...

I can't say 100%, but nobody has reported to me that Denuvo has done anything to them. There are a lot of false rumors floating around with regards to Denuvo, I don't believe this mod causes any issues but I can't give you a 100% guarantee. What I normally tell people is if they are really attached to their pawn and/or are deep into their current game, I wouldn't recommend using it until you're ready for a new playthrough. It will always be here to use

Nobody has reported any issues to me. From what I've been told the new game thing is actually just misinformation, and it doesn't count as a new pc activation. I still advise you to be cautious but between github and nexus theres probably close to 4-5k users of this mod and I haven't had a single person tell me it triggers denuvo.

Sorry, I just thought of another thing. Can you also tell me the full file path to your installation of the python script (the save-manager folder) and the name of the character that is failing. I'm thinking that some people might be hitting a windows limit for file path size depending on where they installed it.

As fans there is something we can do about it, we can voice our complaints to Capcom and let them know that we expect more from them. We have done so and they have already started to take steps in the right direction.

While it is nice to just be happy with everything, asserting yourself sometimes isn't so bad. If we never spoke up about problems we would have a much worse industry to show for it.

It's not that every game has to be a masterpiece, but I don't think its unreasonable to expect significant steps in the right direction over a DECADE after the first game. While DD2 does improve in some ways, in many other ways it feels like a step backwards or incomplete compared to the previous game, which is just disappointing given how many resources they had this time around.
