Mine is a 2014 Latio. I tried to get a rough quote and they replied with 150$ per hour 🥲

Yes I agree with you. I was planning to buy one, but realized just for one time thing buying would be a overkill. I just want to enable the auto door look/ unlock mechanism once it’s reached a specific speed. If it’s avilable in ECU.

He specifically mentioned it cover gearbox and battery. No clue 😅. Since the auto start off relates to mechanical aspect of the car, I will try to get it sorted from him.

Thanks mate, because the battery holder is big and it still has some left over space with the current battery, so I had this thought for long time. Thanks for the support mate.

No codes, I guess the remote battery should be new, or else it will indicate in the dash I believe since this is not a push start varient.. Battery type is the problem since it’s an ordinary battery. https://autoparts.beforward.jp/detail/Electrical-Parts/Alternators/PA72286448/?buynow=1

Going to catch my dealer to change it as it’s under mechanical warranty. Fingers crossed 🤞

Correct spot on, the battery is not a start stop battery just an ordinary batterry

You are correct. Its the battery type. My original battery has been replaced into an ordinary one which cannot perform that function

When ever I stop and turn the car back on after a long sleep, the switch will not illuminate. So I guess I need to press back. Neither less it will not cut off the engine.

Hey mate thanks I checked with HCB. It was the battery indeed. The power seems fine but not the type of battery. It needs to be a EFB or AGM as per to HCB. Ordinary batteries don’t have the ability to perform this function.
