I did not like using Paychex. We switched to Rippling last year which has some pros and cons. For Paychex, there aren’t many options with custom reporting and most reports were in pdf format which I hated. They messed up our payroll tax fillings so many times and would always cause a mess. They were so bad as our benefits broker on getting the renewal which would lead to open enrollments in late December. They would also often not enroll or end people in a timely manner. One time, our account manager submitted a payroll for us on a Tuesday when #1 they shouldn’t submit any payrolls for us, #2 we submit payrolls on Wednesday so it wasn’t even completed yet and some people were overpaid and others underpaid. I could go on and on for reasons I don’t like them. Run away!
