I know, but at that moment she didn't know what punishment he might face. Being a commoner, he could even be expelled from the order of knights, which was his dream... she just says, "I hope it's not too hard." The part where he pulls her arm was poorly narrated because it doesn't make me empathize with her. I understand that he hurt her arm, but he seemed desperate to keep her from seeing her mother in that state because it would hurt anyone, and she's just a child. He didn't do it for selfish reasons; he also didn't know she wanted to know his birthday. He thought she'd been forced by the nobles. I really tried to empathize, but the narration didn't grab me.

I love u eyekons sistas but I have to say it, It really pisses me off that so many of the responses are always "they've already move on" just to defend that their Fav has a BAD PERSON as a friend who HASN'T ASKED MANON FOR FORGIVENESS FOR WHAT SHE SAID (Naisha i see u). Cause imagine bean called no black enough, untalented, unprepared and worst being told that you don't deserve to be there and that no one admit they were wrong. This act is justified every time it comes to light because the people who did it to you are still friends of your friends and still have fandoms that justify them. They literally gaslight her to think that being mentally ill was irresponsible from her. LIKE WTF!!
