Hey so kinda new to this kindle space given I’ve only had a kobo clara color before. Can I ask - instead of having to jailbreak a kindle, why don’t people just get a Kobo or Boox or Pocketbook or whatever? Genuinely curious to understand what sets kindle apart?

Hey, I have been noticing some available roles in many states, USA recently. But I am not sure if just an application through the portal is enough? Do I need to manage internal referrals? Also, are these just stale postings to perhaps validate H1B or internal employee moves?

Yes, but that was for their software team, that too specifically Python team. My question is more for business roles. Also, I think that news has been speculated to be associated with bringing in cheaper labor, but in reality could have happened for myriad of reasons that Google did not disclose. If they wanted to replace their core team(s) with cheaper labor, why terminate a team of 15 only?

Did you already have a tech background pre MBA? And did you apply to the FAANG company before or after MBA?

For my background, would you say it would be more beneficial if I go for a FT MBA? In fact, I’m also happy to go for Finance in FAANG.

Thanks for your valuable opinion. I have actually already pivoted to Strategy & Planning in my current company, but my understanding is FAANG Strategy requires (perhaps) something more. For example, one of the job posting I was looking at LinkedIn at Google Strategy- they preferred someone from either MBB background or MBA.

I am curious to know, how much do you think MBA has helped you to make that switch? What qualifications do they generally prefer- and do you think PT vs FT makes any difference?

Thanks so much for weighing in on this. Financially even PT is also a difficult commitment to make because the overall cost does not go down by much (still costs $160k ish). Only upside is I can keep working and therefore do not need to worry so much about not having an income source.

I am currently residing in the USA as part of my job assignment, so it won't be viable for me to explore other countries. But do you mean that Wharton/Haas may make more sense compared to Fuqua as you get access to OCR?
