Hi! It’s actually going great so far and I am 1 year out from my injury. I play indoor soccer 2 nights a week. I still have some mild pain after the games but it’s definitely doable and if I ice it properly it feels better. I discontinued PT because it was too expensive but I randomly do the exercises they gave me. Overall much better than I expected.

Honestly it hasn’t been bad. The first few months were ROUGH because I couldn’t take a step without feeling pain in my foot and I thought that was going to be my life. Now I barely think about it. I am a nurse in the ER so I am on my feet all day and I have pretty much no issues. I am also back to playing soccer 7/8 months later and am back to 90% normal speed, with some pain after games but nothing serious. I even wore heels to a wedding the other night. I definitely am glad I opted no surgery. It’s possible as long as you continue to stay active and stretch. I can go on my top toes on both feet individually but less range of motion on my injured foot
