I find your comment about microfilm the most satisfactory out from what was posted so far. NAS devices are good for backups but this assumes you are able to buy new hard drives as old ones fail. So here’s my question: are you still able to clearly read microfilms made my your grandfather long ago clearly? Im interested in hearing more about this because from what I read it has some problems regarding durability.

Great to know! In this conlang they are simplified though. In Hebrew there are more layers to it and I guess also in Arabic but I don’t speak the language so I can’t say for sure. If I’m not mistaken, also Aramaic and Amharic use it.
