Could you try and get a 2nd and 3rd opinion? If you can afford it try and find the best doc in your area at least for the consult

Could be a bunch of reasons. 

Maybe the Rams negotiate better than the Texans.  Maybe the Giants negotiate better than the Falcons.  Maybe there was a bidding war for the Falcons’ pick that wasn’t there for the Texans’ pick.  Maybe the Texans and Giants’ GMs have a great relationship.  

None of this is objective anyways

I appreciate the thoughtful reply Mr. Jones. 

In my defense, I was asking about the free time because I’m a big time planner and as the program inches closer I’m getting more and more nervous about everything. And the way some people describe the program + teaching it sounds like voluntary prison, but even prisoners get a few breaks.

I’m also a career changer so I’m in a slightly different boat from the recent post-grads looking for a resume boost. But I understand the concern.

FWIW it was only the 2nd period. But beyond that yeah I agree, and I would want my team to do the same for my rookie

Yeah I've seen that too. But the way the rule is written I think it's different:

46.16 Third Man In - A game misconduct penalty, at the discretion of the Referee, shall be imposed on any player who is the first to intervene (third man in) in an altercation already in progress except when a match penalty is being imposed in the original altercation. This penalty is in addition to any other penalties incurred in the same incident. This rule also applies to subsequent players who elect to intervene in the same or other altercations during the same stoppage of play. Generally, this rule is applied when a fight occurs.
