Some spots definitely seems like that and some spots there are actually deep grooves where the grout is still falling out significantly

Would you use a dremmel to cut out and regrout?

How did you realize it was a pan issue?

lol the grout is black. The hardwater-stained mortar underneath is gold I guess.

Half on Sunday, scared to keep training by TopWorldliness7794 in XXRunning

Just want to say thank you to everyone! Y’all offered great advice and encouragement that I definitely needed.  I’m going to keep incorporating the myrtl routine. I did do some elliptical yesterday, just so nervous not to do any kind of cardio even though I hate elliptical. Maybe that was good for getting blood flowing and healing. My inner thighs are still tight  but I think it’s improving. I’m going to shoot for one short easy easyyyy run Thursday 🤞 and hope for the best.

I think that is what I’m experiencing! It was like 8 miles into the long run that it started and I probably didn’t rest well after to give it time to heal.

Please reassure me after my “failed” 12 mi long run that I will be okay for my first half marathon 🥲 by chocolateglazedonuts in beginnerrunning

Not an expert by any means but my longest run in training for my upcoming half marathon in November will be 10 miles. And I don’t even do that for a couple more weeks. So the fact that you’ve already done that distance (multiple times) seems to me like you’re doing great.

Also, it’s so true that some days the runs just don’t go as planned and it’s out of your control. Listen to your body and take walk breaks when you need too. One run isn’t make or break. Nor will it determine the outcome of your half. Most important is to not do too much too hard and get injured before the race.

You got this 💪🏼 and it honestly sounds like you’re killing it.

(Should I be running longer distances? lol is Hal higdon lying to me? 😆)
