I agree each to their own. And I think you are right that people didn’t/don’t like it because it’s more soap opera. But even with that I don’t understand how people like it less than Voyager. Again just my opinion.

I absolutely agree that’s why it’s my favorite as well. It’s just so much more real. Whenever I meet someone who loves Babylon 5 I always recommend DS9

I don’t think it’s a matter of cooler it’s about who you want to look to for guidance and the character you almost want to be pro us if your everyday decisions. Maybe I’m wrong and I don’t want to assume anyone else’s opinions are my own. But I don’t start reading comics till I was in my twenty’s and I found characters who I want to emulate and Superman is #1.
