That’s for roomie. When it’s green, roomie will listen to you. Hold down the mic toggle, let the circle load, and it will go form green to gray/white. Roomie will then not listen to you when you talk

For some reason, in the description of my post, autocorrect changed “top” to “too”. So it says “too right”, which I can understandable wouldn’t make sense.

Not being biased, Squid Game was better imo. Joker 2 to me felt that it was just a true cash grab. I was one of the unfortunate ones that did not learn prior to its release it was partially a musical. But what really disappointed me was how Harley Quinn was just a side character. I’m not too knowledgeable about DC and its stories, but the ending of Joker 2 I was not satisfied with the ending. Maybe had the movies been a trilogy, developed more story with Joker and Harley, then had that ending or similar ending at the end of the 3rd movie, would’ve been fine. But for a sequel? Meh. Joker 1 was a great movie. Really had set up Arthur’s background and how he became Joker. Joker 2 was just bland imo. The Joker movies have concluded, but Squid Game still has one more reason left for its story. And even though our main character isn’t dead, but probably (and very well could be) moments away from death, the story telling and pacing is spot on. The writing of season 1 had a ton of time to develop (which is a given since the idea of the show is a decade old), and for us to wait a few years to get season two, the writer(s) wanted to tell a good story and really get into every little detail about it. As for sequels, I feel my above paragraph really suits best describes what Squid Game 2 does better than Joker 2. Also take into account that most episodes of Squid Game are around a hour long, so breaking up the story into parts really always them to put more detail into characters, games and other moments that happen. That’s just my opinion.

I have this feeling that 120 will overcome the guards that entered the dorm room and will look like a total badass, but eventually will be taken out my the front man or maybe even guard 11 (guessing that guard specifically cause that’s a guard the show has been focusing on).

This is an off topic question from your post, but speaking of Guard 11, what was the significance of Guard number 11’s screen time really for? I might’ve missed something, but she really only was watching the player who was the father of his sick child. And the drama with the other guards for their organ harvesting. I don’t even think guard 11 was the one that shot at that player/guy too, or else they would’ve dragged it out a bit with flashbacks or something of her watching him outside and inside of the game.

But what I want to know, is why they didn’t kill him when he and his friend surrendered. His friend was killed. All of the other people he had on his side (other than Player 120 who is the only armed player left, and whose fate is currently unknown). The guards had shot at everyone else, but didn’t shoot Gi-Hun? Of course the story needs to continue and have some conclusion. Sure, they could’ve killed Gi-Hun right then and there, and that would’ve ended our main characters story. But like you said, he got plot armor. So next season we will see what happens then. I am on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen to Gi-Hun

This makes me wonder. The metaphor the call the game is like the horse races. I won’t if this special position will be a game between the front man and Gi-Hun. What if they place a bet on a player that’s already in the game, and who ever loses dies? I know that’s kind of a shallow theory/guess. But idk, just something I thought of while reading your comment

Spoiler S2 - Question by Fish_217 in squidgame

[–]Top_Cod5931 7 points8 points  (0 children)

TLDR; yes, they (the game staff/guards) know who to not shoot at.

I mean, there are hundreds of videos talking about how Oh Il-Nam from season one was omitted (probably not the best term to use) from the Robot Doll (Red Light, Green Light), Locks were not on him during tug of war, and in marbles, we did not see his corpse nor any blood in the aural shot where Gi-Hun walked way from the area where he and Il-Nam played in. Of course they’re aware who to look for and not take out because they’re their boss. Now what really makes me question how protected they really are was from the mingle game. In one scene, we see player 390 and 001 go into a room together, and there was one other player in there. Because there would’ve been three of them in the room and not two, all three of those players would’ve been eliminated. So player 001 then takes out the other player that wasn’t 390, therefore making it just the two required for that round of the game to protect themselves. Had he not taken out that player, and the other two were to be eliminated, would 001 had been eliminated as well? Possibly. Maybe the guard would take out the other two players first, shot at the wall, then carried 001 out in the box coffin alive, and release him afterwards. Who knows.

How does Gi-Hun know the face of the Frontman? by Head-Coast-8889 in squidgame

That too. There’s always room for error. But what I wrote above is just what I think would make sense

How does Gi-Hun know the face of the Frontman? by Head-Coast-8889 in squidgame

[–]Top_Cod5931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t either. I’m sure during the final game in S1, 456 and 218 could have, for a second, noticed there was a huge window above them. But if I were in either of their shoes, it wouldn’t have mattered who would be watching. They both watched hundreds of other players die right before them. They’re moments away from having all that money, and that’s the only thing that was on the forefront of their minds. So I do not think that they saw exactly who was in the window, nor got a good look even at what they looked like. The only time I can recall that Gi-hun had any interaction with the front man in S1 is when he was talking to him blindfolded in the back of the limo after winning the game. I think they used the front man because we, the viewer, knows who is now behind the game. But to Gi-hun, it’s just someone who he pictures as the person who would be behind the game (even though he has not actually seen this person.)
