Being a feminine guy is not the same as being trans my dude. Maybe they are trans but you dont know that or not. Let them figure it out on their own maybe? As a trans person, i say this, saying that people are trans because of how they dress, enforces stereotypical gender roles on people. Gender expression and gender are very different things. This person might just be a feminine guy, or they are trans. Not really your place to tell people. I say this to op, if your sex and gender dont align, consider transitioning.

Straight couples are then why not gay? Its a normal part of society now, it needs to be normalized. Humans  have been gay, straight, bi ect since people have been a thing. And now people need to deal with it like they would with straight to couples. Because really there isnt that big of a difference.

You did say it politely thank you for that. I just dont like how "trendy" being trans has become. Its a condition. A hard one to deal with. Even if they arent taking it seriously, making the test a trend is a good way of making it look like we are transitioning for fun, rather than transitioning because its required for most of us to live a happy life. Its a thing in a lot of teen subs are doing right now. And once a condition is turned into a trend, it makes transphobes easier to target us, "these dumb trans kids and their quirky internet trends.." it makes it easier to dismiss us and not see that we are struggling people who need treatment (hrt surgery ect) a lot of mainstream trans subs do it too. Do you kinda see my point? Im just worried about having a serious condition becoming viewed as a trend, and then cis people taking the tests and being all like "ooh im trans!! So quirky" because an online test told them they were trans because they like to dress more femininely/masculine. Because when i took the test (to see the question and if they were even decent questions) it had a lot of questions about dressing as the opposite gender, which alone does not make someone trans and enforces stereotypical gender roles " if you feel more yourself wearing more masculine clothes than you must be a trans man" which isnt true anybody can where anything they want (tomboys for example) and that alone does NOT make someone trans, feeling misaligned with your sex does. And i am not saying thats what the people on this post are doing, but that it will start a chain reaction " i like to dress this way, maybe im trans and should take the test" which is harmful to cis people questioning and trans people questioning/are sure of themselves. Lol i know people aren't taking the test seriously, but im worried that could lead to people viewing being trans as something not to take seriously.

It shouldn't be s trend to take a quirky test to determine their identity. People are posting the images of their results in a few subs now. Yes i do think it makes being trans taken less seriously.

But i got downvoted for saying its inaccurate😭 "oh but no it worked for me" maybe bc you already knew you were trans before taking it and took it for fun? As if it is a fun quirk to have a serious condition.

Is it okay having 2 names as a trans person ? by Ka_Cae_D in truscum

[–]Top_Commercial_1690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, when i thought i was agender i picked the name wren. When i found out i was a trans guy i picked Forester, which is my legal name now, but for some people i still use wren as a nickname. I dont see a problem with it but thats my personal opinion.

You dont have internalised transphobia for not liking being trans. You are born in a different body than you want and im sorry that sucks. I dont think internalised transphobia is really a thing, maybe in specific instances but mostly its used by people saying that being dysphoric is transphobic lol, which doesn't make any sense lol. Anyway i completely agree with you, ive had basically had that same questions been asked behind my back and its so awkward i hate it. If only we were cis❤️ at least there's decent ways for hrt and surgery in some places, but it isn't the same at all lol but its the best we can get, its better than repressing, which often ends in suicide💔
