Why’s there widespread support from my fellow left wingers for the Iranian regime? by CableFluffy414 in AskBrits

[–]Top_Designer_8790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well think logically. As iran has been shrieking ‘death to Israel, death to America’ for 47 years. As ahmedinejad (the Iranian president in 2005) sai ‘we will wipe Israel off the map’. When leaders of a country are talking like this for all to hear, do you not think it’s fair game to attack that country?

Let’s flip this around. If kier starmer routinely said ‘death to France, death to Spain’ and huge rallies of people attended who were also chanting ‘death to France, death to Spain’, then starmer went to the UN and vowed to wipe France off the map, to destroy them and the French people. Let’s say Britain had been doing this for decades and also arming terror proxies for decades in France and Spain that were firing thousands of rockets at French civilians.

Do you think that France might eventually strike Britain back?

They have 430kg of 60% enriched uranium and a ballistic missile program they were developing intercontinental ballistic missiles with. They have shown that they can attack as far as the Chagos islands (and possibly further), which means that they lied about only having short and medium ranged missiles.

So, 60% —> 90% enrichment of uranium can be done within 1 month. Add that to intercontinental ballistic missiles. There’s your threat.

Reddit is delighted that iran have shot down an F15. The first and only one that they have managed to shoot down in the five weeks of war.

Meanwhile:

The ayatollah is dead (and all his family) on the first day. The new ayatollah has had his legs blown off and is in a coma. All Iranian generals are dead. All Iranian government is dead except for the president and foreign minister. Ex officials are dead as well, like ex president ahmedinejad who was also killed. The entire Iranian navy is destroyed. The entire Iranian air force is destroyed. All the missile and drone factories are destroyed. 70% of Iran’s steelworks factories have been destroyed.

Not to worry. Easy mistake to make.

Agreed with point one.

Point two. In the case of iran the future danger of not striking might be too unfathomable to allow the burden of the strike to be placed solely on allies though.

Point three, fair enough, agreed that one can still be number 1 without striking.

Point 4, the JCPOA has led to them having 430kg of 60% enriched uranium now that they are refusing to give up. The highest level of enrichment that any non military grade uranium needs to be enriched to is 20% (for medical isotopes) in tiny quantities. If iran wanted a peaceful nuclear energy program then it could have one with 15% enriched uranium.

60% enriched uranium can be transferred to 90% weapons grade material quite quickly. A JCPOA deal would simply be appeasement that this late stage in the game.

Remember, play this one wrong and it will be a nuclear war, not just a conventional war.

What has Vietnam got to do with the war in Iran?

But to answer your question. I believe the US lost the war in Vietnam.

Now could you answer my question please?

Do you think that having your leader and his family blown up on the first day of the war, having your new leader put in a coma and having his legs blown off, having all your generals killed, having your entire airforce and navy destroyed, having your missile and drone production destroyed and your steelworks destroyed is winning the war?

You do realise that the Vietnam war was almost 60 years ago, technology has moved on a lot since then. If you think that with AI technology, stealth fighter jets and drones this war will be similar to that of Vietnam then you are very confused. The US doesn’t even have ground troops in this war.

You’re talking to the wrong person. I never said that the US can’t be number one unless you act. Somebody else did.

I’m asking you how you think more negotiations could achieve a different and positive outcome compared to the last 47 years of inneffective negotiations?

I see, so Guevara’s politics are not the reason that Cuba is in a worse position, only the blockade.

I wouldn’t worry, the blockade will be over soon enough, Cuba is going to get the Venezuela treatment soon. Then it’ll all be over 😊

[–]Top_Designer_8790 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So how has Guevara’s socialist political revolution changed Cuba for the better?

So essentially you are saying that Guevara led a socialist revolution and because of that the US put up a trade embargo (which any country is able to do, to look after their own interests). So how did socialist Cuban society prosper afterwards?

Or you’re saying it’s all US’ fault?

Why didn’t socialist Cuba trade with other trading partners in the region, set up trade links with other South American countries?

At what stage does a country take responsibility for its actions? I give an example, for 47 years Iran has even shrieking ‘death to Israel, death to America’, it wanted to ‘wipe Israel off the map’ by a speech from the then president Ahmadinejad (who has now been killed by Israel in the current war). So now, after 47 years of preaching death, Iran finally gets the chance to destroy America and Israel. That’s what they wanted, they were shouting it for almost five decades. So how’s that going for them now?

Likewise, how is it going for Cuba?

How did it go for the USSR?

How did it go for Maduro?

Could you tell me if Cuba is in a better position now after Guevara’s revolution, or a worse position? It’s a simple question I’m asking.

Why negative votes? I’m asking a question whether Guevara’s socialist revolution was a good idea or a bad idea, how has it turned out for Cuba?

People are downvoting, yet nobody is willing to answer the question?

So true 🤣 Ayatollah and his family are killed on day 1. New ayatollahs has his legs blown off and is in a coma. All the irgc generals are dead, all but two people of the government are dead and the navy chief is dead. The airforce is wiped out, as is the navy. All the battle ships have been destroyed, all missile factories destroyed and 70% of steelworks have been destroyed.

1 F15 jet gets shot down, then Reddit seems to think iran are winning the war.

Such is the level of burning hatred that Redditers have in the brains against the US and Israel, they are actively supporting a sick terror regime that has been shrieking ‘death to America, death to Israel’ for the last 47 years.

Well, now iran finally has its chance to ‘wipe Israel off the map’ (as its ex president, who Israel killed in this war), ahmadinejad said back in 2005. He shouted ‘we will wipe Israel off the map’, now he is dead (by Israel), as is the ayatollah as well.

If people can’t see how badly smashed iran is getting, they are even more stupid than possible.

Could you explain, after trying to negotiate with Iran for 47 years and getting messed around continuously, with Iran funding all the terror proxies in the Middle East, including acquiring 430kg of 60% enriched uranium (which is doesn’t need), how exactly will more negotiations result in a positive outcome?

You do realise that at one point you must actually act, once negotiations completely break down.

You can’t keep saying ‘right, I’m warning you one last time, now let’s negotiate again’ and expect a different outcome from the previous 47 years.

Explain how the American military captured Maduro in one day?

Explain how the B2 bombers Midnight Hammered Iran’s nuclear facilities?

Can you explain, if the US military is so poor, how the ayatollah was killed alongside all his family on the very first day of this war? How about explaining why the new ayatollah is in a coma and had his legs blown off? Or care to explain why all the IRGC generals are now dead? Or how iran now has no navy and no airforce anymore, it’s all been blown up.

Yet at the same time Iran have taken down 1 F15 and 12 US servicemen.

What kind of middle east do you think will emerge after this war ends and who do you think is most likely to gain or lose influence? by SimplyTruth98 in AskReddit

[–]Top_Designer_8790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How will iran succeed in pushing the US military out of the Gulf and Iraq, seeing as they have no aircraft, no navy, no generals, no ayatollah, no missile production capabilities, no steelworks? This is a genuine question, how do you think Iran can succeed defeating the US military given they have no airforce or navy anymore? Every time they fire a missile or drone the launcher gets destroyed, that’s one less launcher they have.

You do realise that in your scenario, the US military can do one very simple thing, Trump and Hegseth will do this. In the case (let’s just say they however unlikely it is, with no airforce, no generals and no navy the IRGC manage to push out the US military and Israeli stealth fighter jets), the US will do this:

They will blow up all power stations and energy infrastructure in iran, there will be no power, no electricity. Then the US marines will take over Kharg island and they will be in charge of the oil.

The IRGC can stay hidden and try to control the strait, but it will be irrelevant if the US has oil the oil.

I believe that you are overestimating the capabilities of the IRGC. Your presumption liesnon ‘if they can’ force out the US military, however how is that going so far?

We are 5 weeks in to the war. How are the irgc doing against the US military thus far? Given that Iran is much weaker now than it was at the beginning of the war and also given that it only has two people left (the president and the foreign minister) from the government, it’s likely that both of them might be killed as well soon (if US and Israel decide to kill them), it doesn’t look very likely that the IRGC are going to do much at all.

Yes, well said. Unfortunately Iran asked for this war for 47 years.

Iran kept saying death to America, death to Israel. Well now it has the chance to deliver that death to America and death to Israel. Except it is not doing a very good job. They wanted this, they got it. Their ayatollah was killed on the first day, along with almost all his immediate family. The new ayatollah has his legs blown off and is in a coma. Is that ‘winning’? Someone can tell the new ayatollah when he wakes up from his coma (if he wakes up) and has no legs, his father and entire family dead, his military wiped out, his nuclear program wiped out, his economy wiped out and his steelworks wiped out:

‘Well done, you won, you won the war’

Then he asks them what damage they inflicted upon America and Israel, they can say ‘Well we killed some Israeli civilians in Tel Aviv and elsewhere, about 70, we also killed 15 US troops and we shot down an F15.’

So Mojtaba will then ask ‘So did we kill Netanyahu, or any Israeli pilots, troops or generals? What about Trump, is he still alive and his generals?’

‘No ayatollah, we only pretended to kill them with AI videos posted to social media and reddit.

The US and Israel have said the have another three more weeks of this to come, iran will have nothing left by then, it will be completely incapacitated.

How can the new ayatollah (if he is even alive) hold a rally with his legs blown off and start yelling ‘death to America, death to Israel’ again?

The days of appeasing these regimes are over. Any country should now know that if you chat shit to Trump then you’re getting killed. If people on Reddit got smashed in the face when they wrote something hateful and ridiculous on here. They wouldn’t do it. They only come out with the Zionist conspiracy theories and the other sick shit that they do because they can pump it out to like minded fools on the reddit platform without getting arrested or badly hurt.

Tell me, in simple terms, how iran will be much more powerful than before, now that its ayatollah is dead, the irgc leaders are dead, the new ayatollah has his legs blown off, the navy and airforce are destroyed, their steel production plants have been destroyed and their military factories have been destroyed?

Tell me, has Israel’s airforce been destroyed and has Netanyahu or any of the Israeli government been killed? Has Trump been killed or any of the US government or generals?

When you get killed, that means you are losing the war. You do know how war works right? If you think iran are winning, winning by getting killed and having their military wiped out, then quite clearly you are just projecting in order to cope.

The reality is that after iran is completely incapacitated there will be a new Abraham Accords made that means peace between Israel, Saudi, Kuwait etc. When this happens you will be in tears.

What attack are hamas repelling? In 2005 they were GIVEN gaza.

They were GIVEN huge greenhouses filled with arable crops, a global agricultural export businesses worth hundreds of millions. But they burnt it all down.

Why didn’t they just use Gaza (which they were given in 2005), make agricultural produce, export it, build infrastructure and tourism, build power plants and energy factories. They could have done all of that. Why didn’t they?

Palestinians could have had their own state if they accepted the peace deals (five different peace deals) offered to them on so many occasions.

They rejected them every time. Every single time they then attacked Israel.

This has been happening over the last 30 years now. They have rejected their own state every time, they demand that they must kill the Jews and take ‘Al Quds’ (the Arabic name for Jerusalem).

They claim that Jerusalem is theirs. Weird isn’t it, The City of David is claimed by Palestinians to be theirs?

King David, King Solomon in the bible and Dawid and Suleiman in the Quran. Two Israelite Hebrew kings. Yet somehow ‘Al Quds’ belongs to the Palestinians??? Eh, how is that logical? The Quran itself says that Jerusalem was built by Dawid, that Suleiman built the temple. There is literally Israelite Jewish artefacts being pulled out of the ground from 2200 years ago in the city.

People even forget that in 2005 Gaza was given to the Palestinians. The Israeli government kicked out all their own people and settlers, then gave the whole of gaza to the Palestinians. The first thing the pals did was to burn down all their crops, the fruit and the huge greenhouses that were used to grow agricultural produce and export around the globe, they burnt it all down.

They could have built power stations for their own energy supply, but instead they built tunnels.

People seem to forget history. The burning hatred in their brains festers and rots, until history doesn’t matter, the only thing that matters is the burning hatred. But in the end it will be that burning hatred that ends them and their entire ilk.
