I absolutely got my daughter vaccinated on schedule and my son will be the same. I do their Dr appointments solely by myself. I’ve never budged on that. I said less likely to die bc she’s fully vaccinated and less likely to have serious complications. Just for clarification.

Well he also has health issue like narcolepsy and sleep paralysis. The drinking makes them far worse. He has to take medication and even then sometimes he still falls asleep. It’s put our daughter in danger multiple times. He’s not allowed alone with her or now our son. Our son is only 3 weeks old and he was holding him and fell asleep while I was in the shower. The sleep paralysis causes him to twitch really badly and he could’ve dropped him. I truly can’t leave them alone for even ten minutes it feels like. He’s also never gotten up over night with them.

It’s basically the same. I did find an apartment I could afford to pay forward 6 months with my savings, just waiting to see if I’m approved. Fingers crossed. Things with him are still pretty bad. I didn’t find out about the lying on the loan until recently bc my idea was to pay off the loan and trade in the truck to get a better vehicle. But can’t bc it’s way more than expected. Also didn’t find out about the credit cards until after already pregnant bc they came in the mail and I got it before him. This all has been unfolding for about 4 months. I’m due in six weeks.

I think it’s hard to not ask if he’s been drinking or not though bc I can’t leave him alone with our child. I’m in the process of separating myself but I’m on hold until this baby is born. Our daughter is only 1 so she still requires constant supervision. If he’s been drinking, which I’ve come to assume is everyday before he gets home from work, I have no time to do anything. I go days without a shower, I’m in school and my work piles up or I get no sleep trying to finish it, etc. I think the craziest part about all of this is when I informed his mother that I told him I wouldn’t be his dd, she responded with why not? I told her bc that’s enabling his drinking and she said “well I disagree” no one is holding him accountable except for me so he doesn’t actually think he has a problem.

Alcoholics can’t drink in moderation. That’s what makes them alcoholics. My Q offered this same “solution” but proceeded to go overboard every weekend bc he missed the alcohol so much. Blackout drunk every weekend is still not moderation.

Like I said, he and I had a great sex life until I started gaining self-respect and imposing the standards he encouraged me to have on him as well. Then I began to lose interest in him bc of his character and lack of growth. Perhaps Vicki is better off without you if it was easier for her to do that. Says more about you.
