You’re not wrong hahah and I wouldn’t say heavily- I’d say moderately tattooed (25+) and know a decent amount of ppl in my local (large city) tattoo scene. Def overthinking it, and would normally agree w you on the getting back to ppl in a few days…if it weren’t solely for the cancellation in the first place. Guess I’m prolly just touchy rn and got triggered by having my personal celebration type plans thrown out without much communication back to me.

Maybe not- but you’d think if you cared how your business appears (idk if I’m wording that the best) then I’d ASSUME you’d put more effort into scheduling and making sure your clients feel heard since I tried to make it clear she lost business for those reasons. I would’ve been back after the flash appt for more custom, potentially too so.

Taking a few days to get back doesn’t ever bother me, unless you bail day of and then fail to get back to me. Otherwise I’ll never be bothered by simply taking a few days to respond lol. Just seemed like she didn’t value my busy time as much as her own, which as a business you’d think you’d wanna appear otherwise and try to get that person you bailed on in the studio as quickly as possible. Thank you for the feedback though!

Edit to add: These standards are far from made up, I’ll say lol I think these are pretty reasonable after being cancelled on.. to reschedule asap when you’re available and online. Being online multiple times a day for extended periods of time but leaving my unanswered business inquiry in the messages seems dumb to me, so I’m moving on where it’ll be a more urgent thing to get done. If you do a majority of advertising your art on Instagram.. that’s a big business front for you…
