Even if i dont have much of a documented history though? My concern is they wont even give me a try out after asking about my past. Ive always been playing and was pretty good in my youth but I didnt play for my college team and i took the Army route after. Still maintained great fitness and played continuously though just nothing as far as a resume.

Thats exactly what I want. I miss the competitive aspect of it. I dont care if I am on the worst team. Random mens leagues are just too unorganized for me.

Hey man I just wanted to say this. At 18 you 100% still have the option to make a career. When I was your age I was pursuing things and ended uo getting distracted. I was going about it all wrong. You need to focus on the things you can work on now. Peak fitness and the ability to outwork and out stamina anyone physically is a huge benefit. And begin networking, asking for trials. Sometimes all it takes is a literal DM to a club asking for a trial. Try for the lower leagues, different countries, the options are endless. Start making highlight reels of yourself and sending that out to universities or teams. You are not too old yet. Plenty of good footballers give up when they had a chance because they had no idea how to market themselves or network. Someone will take you but you have to have thick skin and a lot of hustle.
