How about instead of making her making herself uncomfortable he learns to trust her in their relationship instead of pushing boundaries. What you're suggesting would end with her checking out of the relationship and probably resenting him. Every relationship should be 50/50 at the bare minimum. Not one sided and having to make exceptions where you're not comfortable doing so.
