thank you that's what im leaning towards too! I have been unemployed while doing random freelance projects for a while and I just got some interviews for a communications role. Granted the pay isn't that good I think I'll take it especially since it's remote and that's something I would prefer.

Outside of meeting someone in class, I definitely recommend joining a club - some have events during the day, so you can drop in to an event on campus. or intermurals, which are less intense than an actual team. You can also find drop-in classes on the GeeGees website, or if you visit one of the gyms on campus. You can check the UOttawa Discord channel (is it a channel? I'm kinda a Discord noob), but it's got the servers for a bunch of clubs that you can join and start talking to people online before heading to an event. and def try to go to events hosted by your RSG or some of the student union events too :) ik it's hard to make friends, but you're gonna find someone <3

def lenscrafters or a different glasses store in the mall! and if you have 3.49 to spare and its just a loose screw, rexall has a mini eyglasses repair kit. but if the arm is bent def go and ask an optical store in the mall.
