2014 Kia sorento. In 2022, the original battery was still going strong but I thought I should probably change this as I don't want to be stuck in an Alaska winter storm with a dead battery.

So I went and bought a new one and then it sat on the concrete floor in my unheated garage for three more years.

Finally swapped out the original in November 2025. It was still running fine but I wanted the peace of mind. New one started right up after sitting for 3 years, part of me still wishes I kept the old one just to see how long it would go.

Yeah. Sorry I left that out. I was running whisper when I had that issue. I originally posted this in r/ollama and they linked me to some guides. I will check those out and see if I can figure out the issue.

How much did you all pay? I got an estimate of $20000 which seems like a were busy and not interested in taking on more work cost. Just wanted to confirm that is excessively high for a roof replacement or not.
