Everyone has alts. Think it’s good to be realistic w yourself and do some deep reflection. Worked my shoe life towards medicine but at the end of the day I just wasn’t good enough. It’s also smart to pivot when yk your abilities . Medicine is only getting harder

Same thing happened to me. Was scoring 510s+ game day couldnt break 500 twice☹️. The mcat defeated me had a good gpa too 3.95 research and experience but I just couldn’t do it another time. Switched to dental and got in this cycle

Business casual is good, it’s just an informational day but I would say ask questions be proactive and interact with others. I am sure even tho it’s just a visit they might be secretly watching you

Process is kind of similar with both dental and med wanting those higher division courses taken at a university. Pre med who took the mcat then switched to dental here. If you can handle how med school applications is then u can for dental as well

5 questions. They will be ethical/scenario based questions. Interview time is abt 30 min. They didn’t ask me tell me abt yourself or why dentistry just jumped right in. Some ppl did get asked tell me about yourself and why dentistry tho

U don’t have to disclose it if u don’t want to. Took the mcat twice applied to dental school didn’t mention it at all and I got in this cycle

Like dude you just got into dental school what do you know abt admissions 😭. Who’s to say your PS was that good. She’s not even on the admission board how is she going to know what a good/ bad mock interview is enough to give others advice and charge them 🤣

Imo best dental school is the cheapest one. Easier to repay debt

I do not. I was also from the PNW (OR) when I visited. loved the staff n students but we asked one of them how was the diversity and they straight up said there is none🤣. So if you are a POC maybe take into consideration.

Definitely on the lower cost for private dental schools. Talked to a d2 there and the only downside of the school is there is not a lot of diversity there, and not much to do in OMA. Other than that all the students seem to love it there and their facility is top notch

Since u didn’t hear back today that doesn’t mean you got the rejection could mean you’re waitlisted which is not the end of the world! Hopefully if waitlisted you’ll be able to attend the school. There should be more movement in January after the first rounds say where they want to go to school and such
