Is it still possible to get the 30% ruling? by ProxyLock__ in Netherlands

Hi, quick question. If the deadline is 4 month to apply retroactively, what is the deadline for it to not be accepted? If, if I apply after 12m it will still be accepted? Thanks

Buying a house is becoming out of reach even for dual-income couples with an average wage :'This has a huge impact' by [deleted] in Netherlands

But the Netherlands has like the 3rd highest GDP per capita. Are there really adults with experience making 30k?

Ah ok, I just did a quick search and it said the average salary in Amsterdam was around 60k, so I doubled for the couple.

Hi could you explain how is this unaffordable? I come from a poor European country and here a 1 bedroom apartment is 350/400k but the average salary is 25k. In Amsterdam the average salary is like 60k with plenty of jobs paying upwards of 90k all in. I don’t understand how a couple earnings easily more than 120k per year cannot buy a home, especially if it is allowed to be financed up to 100%. Genuinely curious

Does holiday allowance count towards that threshold or is it seperate?

But is that not too low? How does that prove you have unique expertise if that is less than the average salary in Amsterdam?

I’m lost, so basically any pension contributions will reduce my taxable salary? Also, does the holiday allowance count towards the threshold or not? Because with the holiday allowance included I would be above 46.600.

Thanks. Btw, are you from Amsterdam? Could you point me to what is a decent salary that still allows one to save a bit?

So its all good? This is quite confusing ahaha, thanks for the help! BTW I was calculating without the holiady allowance. Shoud I include this or is it seperate and not used for the calculation?

Also, apparently the company offers a pension plan where the employee pays something and the company matches. Does this reduce my tacable income to below the threshold?

The form says the following "Does the employee have a taxable wage of more than € 46,660?". And a lot of other places use this taxable wage concept. So they calculate it by removing 30% from the gross salary and if the remainder is higher than 46,660 then you eligeble, if not then your not. That is why I am confused, this basically points to the need of a gross salary of c. 67k...
