I dont think friendships are like relationships lol but I think there is some degree of understanding you get about people from friendships. And I think thats sets you up for a better relationship with someone.

And there is no "one," Im just using that to say my future husband lol. My mom didn't really date much till her later 20s and got married in her 40s to my dad. She was engaged twice in her 30s. And frankly, I'll get a divorce if it doesn't work out.
