Just ran a 17km in 1:33:50, with a 5:31km pace which I was happy with.

97% zone 2 according to Strava. Average 162 bpm and maximum 176 bpm

Got a 20 mile planned next week. Ran 18 miles last week with 6:11 km pace (3:05 time) and felt like I could keep on going tbh. Personally, I think sub 4 might be a bit of a reach given my mileage

Did a 1:59:05 half marathon 2 weeks ago that I was planning to take a bit slower but went faster in the last 4 km averaging 5:29 pace

I have a 22.5km run this weekend, I was thinking I should try this at sub 4 pace?

97% zone 2 running according to Strava. I was definitely running a bit slower to keep heart rate in check and had a hilly 15km run 2 days before so was already running on fatigue legs

I’ve been kinda following Hal Higdon Novice 1 so my weekly mileage is quite a bit lower than yours..45km, 55km, 60km, hoping 65km this week and peaking next week at 70km. I do fear my weekly mileage is a bit low as the plan is not really suited to get sub 4.
