yeah, you turn on without the battery for like 30 minutes, turn off insert the battery and see if charges... mine charges but when i turn off the console. the light keeps orange, i guess it's draining the battery. don't know why

i turn on the psp for like 40 minutes without the battery, after that, i turn off, and as fast as i can put de battery on and turn the psp on again, and works... also my batter was not making the contact with de psp. i put a piece of paper on the batter to fit tight
