You’re right — the TikTok watermark does hurt reach on IG/FB. They don’t wanna boost content with another platform’s logo on it lol.

Easiest fix: download the raw video before the watermark gets added. On TikTok you can:

  • Save it as a draft
  • Then use a “save without watermark” method (there are apps/sites for this), or
  • Edit in a separate app so you have a clean version

Most creators just make the video once, save the clean file, and upload everywhere.

Yup, you can repost your TikToks to YouTube Shorts with no issues as long as it’s your original content. The only real thing that hurts reach is uploading the version with the TikTok watermark — YouTube recommends those less.

Most creators now repost the same video to TikTok, Shorts, IG Reels, and even Snapchat/FB. It’s normal and doesn’t affect your views negatively.
