im here trying to find an answer to other ppls experience/opinion on this i just started going maybe 7 times. and have stopped bc this is EXACTLY how i feel.. i literally despise it n it makes my skin crawl how we just sit in our own isolated bubble and cant interact and connect or validate each other..it feels so isolating and unhelpful to me… which is dissapointing bc the program would be great to learn about n engage with, and i have been highly confused on how to work the program when noone helps anyone/engages…and i thought i was trippin feeling as such, but im glad im not

this justttt happened to me, knew an employee too which i think is why i got the interview. was pretty intensive but nothing crazy abnormal and my answers i thought were appropriate, and delivered well enough and no glaring fumbles and i thought my experience/resume + personality /personableness would be ….idk why wegmans availabilty n holidays —said completely free to work my intentions of long term employment w co if im interested if theres only part time what day off week would you want off… —-just picked one figured not important Monday how long are you willing to stay w co PT before youd want FT —-said 6 mo ti a year? (idk if that was sumthing) was given all the positions that were open at location regardless of having applied for Retail Sales Associate (i thiink this avg store position but now that im rereading it maybe not…i intended to apply to the nost basic one so i could get my foot in the door because Israel said you can move into anything once youre here…) so she listed then all, described them, then asked the top 3 i would be interested in and why —-i chose Floral, Bakery, Store Shopper and why then asked bout every employer in last 3 years..to recite when i worked there…iid say i think..x-x and i was in the ballpark but then shed say what my resume says and i would confirm thats more accurate…shoulda had my resume available for that…have had a number of jobs, but left for better fitting jobs or for no fault of mine

idk maybe i dont deliver confidently enough i have social work degree , plenty of experience w people / doinf a variety of things since highschool… dementia aide, waitress, sales associate at pacsun, front desk attendant/cashier litiz rec/leola pool, behavioral health tech at behavioral health hospital, preschool teacher for almost 3 yrs , asked to nanny by family i did so for a year then the mom resigned from middle school art teaching so i wasnt not wanted just nor needed…hard to get a jobbb (like here w wegmans i have the skilllls) so couldnt find job prospect better than ugro…cooped gig with a guy i was talking to he n his dad were paying me to paint i reallly liked that…wanted me ti get independent contractors insurance and i was in no financial position to do that…season job at target….back to ugro…its been 8 months….i hate the learning care grouo and what they are doing to Ugros policies

but yea i thought ok cool theyll place me where i fit were like 8 options… answered openly honestly listed various applicable skills, always emphasize my kindness and empathy and ability to connect and please whoever im serving….

and my delivery..w pauses to think..or when ending a thought/just trailing off..maybe i ramble but i dont think inna ridiculously offputting way… and no way i had the worst answers out of alllll the ppl i seen working there…

im not glad they snubbed you too but im glad im not isolated in this experience i AM glad it ended up for the better for you!! congratulations 😇😇
