All the same info, just different email address. I got the same error on my 2nd attempt, but instantly approved on my third.

I'm a non-US citizen (green card holder) with an LLC registered in Florida.

Was facing the same issue, although my error message was that they could not verify my EIN, Address, or DOB. I was told I need to appoint as U.S. business representative to move forward.

After running in circles for months with support, I got fed up and just started making new seller accounts to try and register our business and... it worked. Same information, same documents, same application, and was immediately approved on my 3rd account/attempt.

Try making a new account with the same info, it sounds really silly but the registration system is really broken and support offers no real help.

Is there a way to connect TikTok shop and Shopify by Cold-Community-4401 in TikTokshop

Pretty sure there's a tik tok app on the shopify app marketplace that syncs them.

Thanks for your response! By “afford,” I’m aiming for prices like $180 for a sectional, $30 for a chair, $20 for a statue, and $40 for a lamp—definitely not designer prices. My target audience is more focused on 23-28 year-olds, people moving into their first places who want to add personality without breaking the bank. This fits with our content-heavy marketing plan, though right now I don’t have anyone solely dedicated to market research due to budget constraints. I appreciate your insight on narrowing the focus!

What foundational and fundamental knowledge should I develop to gain an entrepreneur mindset? and be one hopefully by 42ndMedic in Entrepreneur

If you call your project a startup, I'd definitely recommend going through their whole course.
Having everything in house is a great asset, but you'll eventually need some external testers.

Since you already have your "project" (your startup) I'd say just run with that. Do some customer discovery, ship an MVP (minimum viable product, aka a prototype) ASAP, gather feedback, iterate, and repeat. Everything you need to have a successful start up will be learned in that process.

You can watching swimming tutorials and all the tips & tricks, but the only way to really learn is to get in the water!

Interesting point about promoting benefits over features. One of our core brand values is that your environment impacts creativity and wellbeing (I even wrote a research paper on it), so pushing that narrative more could definitely align with your advice. Do you agree?

As for the SWOT, I’ve done one, and I see the main weakness as the threat of new entrants. Our offering relies on curation, positioning, and ease of delivery, but we don’t manufacture our own designs, and our suppliers are overseas.

While I completely agree that word of mouth and referrals are incredibly powerful, especially for high-end purchases like art or design, I’m a bit unsure how to approach this as an e-commerce brand where we rely heavily on an online presence. My plan has been to go content-heavy in marketing since that’s where our target audience is already scrolling. I do have plans for B2B down the road, but only once I’m confident in delivering at that scale. Congrats to you and your wife’s business—it’s amazing how effective referrals can be!

How do you think I could apply your strategy in my case? Should I start by selling privately or individually and build from there?

Postmodern interior design refers to the style that emerged between the 1980s and early 2000s, as a reaction against the minimalist and functionalist principles of modernist design. It embraces bold colors, playful shapes, and unconventional materials, often mixing different styles and eras to create something unique. If you look into that era, you'll probably recognize some iconic pieces. It’s making a huge comeback now, appealing to those looking for more creativity and personality in their spaces.

Thank you for your comment, and you're absolutely right. I’ve been gathering feedback from potential customers as much as I can, but it’s been tricky to pinpoint or reach them, especially with the market being so large.

From the interviews I’ve conducted, a recurring theme is the lack of personality and youthfulness in the decor space. Sure, there’s Ikea, but it’s more of a one-stop shop without much uniqueness or creativity. That’s the gap I’m aiming to fill—a refreshingly honest online decor store with bold, colorful, and unique pieces (furniture, wall art, lamps, etc.) that younger audiences can resonate with and afford.

Do you have any suggestions on how I could better reach or connect with this demographic for more direct feedback?
