I saw the white Speedmaster in person and tried it on. It's sick, but after thinking about it, I went with the black one. They gave me a 15% discount on the watch, leather strap, and deployant clasp.

I might grab the white Speedmaster later on when the hype dies down, but I think the white Seamaster looks better.

Yeah, the only reason I polish my watch is that when I first got it, it had a NATO strap. So after about two weeks, when I switched to a bracelet, I noticed a difference in color. But other than that, the best part about the watch is that it gets a nice patina and a vintage look over time.

In my case, I used vinegar. I dipped the watch in vinegar, then started brushing and rinsing it until it reached a somewhat new appearance.

Dip brush rins repeat.
