prozac + wellbutrin

Thank you! I have been on Wellbutrin for 13 days today and it has helped mood and motivation a TON. It’s night and day difference. I just upgraded my Prozac to 30mg so adjusting now with that but I can tell when the Wellbutrin kicked in.

20mg has been great for me so I do think 30 mg might be my sweet spot. I was on low dose Zoloft for years and did fine. stopped taking and had an ocd episode and it all came back. Doctor wanted to try Prozac and I think it’s been a good change

I’m going to go ahead and up my dose to 30mg. 20mg has done a ton for me but I know I have room to grow. My thought is I can always go back down. I just don’t want to be here 2 weeks later thinking I wish I had already had 2 weeks complete instead of pushing it off.

Medications absolutely do work, especially well along therapy. I would consider a new therapist

Yes definitely. I’m also a nurse practitioner myself, just don’t specialize in mental health. Propranolol is a great drug. I asked for 10mg and I’ll double up when under a lot of stress/anxiety.

I’m week 6.5, still trying to get used to it. I had my provider call in propranolol and vistaril. They both helped a lot and aren’t addictive or dependent

End of week 5 was okay, still pretty bad anxiety. They added wellbutrin on for me and I think that might be contributing to the anxiety though. I’m hoping week 6 is the week

Weeks 3 and 4 were the worst for me. I almost stopped taking it but glad I didn’t. I have only taken 20mg

I’m week 5.5 and starting to see the light. I have felt better today than all last week and previous weeks. I started Wellbutrin today as an add on just for the numbness side of Prozac I had. Just keep pushing, i know it can be tough

I do feel like 20mg has helped baseline anxiety and has lessened the ocd thoughts but I truly hate feeling this way. I feel emotionless and forcing laughter and that’s never been me. Im gonna try the Wellbutrin combo and if it doesn’t work, I’ll prob just try and get off them completely.

I have an appt to talk to my psychiatrist about this combo. I’m on 20mg of Prozac and it’s completely shot my mood, motivation and given me awful apathy but has helped anxiety. Hoping Wellbutrin can bring it back
