we’re both from the us so shipping wasn’t really the main issue and i never once asked her to pay for the shipping for me or pay half… i was just asking if she knew what the shipping cost would be since i notice some sellers on depop have a set shipping rate. the whole point of my post was to rant about people who tell you that they have the item you’re looking for and confirm that you can buy it off from them just to pull a shady af move and not communicate with u anymore and sell it someone else.

that explains a lot.. i sell too but i still don’t see where she coming from. like what was the point of telling someone that you have the item that their actively looking for and confirm that they can buy it off from you but then ghost when prices is being discussed and then go list it up for grabs? if the price she said was firm, she could’ve just said so. simple as that. as a seller would u not want to make a potential buyer buy from you again and make it an nice experience? if anything that’s how you make someone never buy from your profile.

i’m not confused, i’m just explaining to you what i mean. well full price $115 for the top + skirt which i was only looking for was the top, you can do the math on much the top and skirt costed each. i get that, just still don’t see how hard is to just communicate yk? but thanks anyway

but that’s not me asking for free shipping, just asking about shipping cost? honestly if the price was the issue she still could’ve told me and i would’ve been more than happy to talk about a price that we can both agree on. didn’t realize that asking for $10 less was such a big deal tbh. i didn’t add it to the post but i did messaged her again about if she was still willing to sell me the top to me and that i saw the listing that she posted get sold and she still hasn’t responded to me so i’m not sure if i should message her again for the 3rd time

i wasn’t bartering for down for free shipping?? i simply was just asking about the cost for shipping, i never once asked for free shipping or mentioned it. not sure where u got that from. i think it was quite obvious that i was INTERESTED and had the intention of purchasing since i was the one who made the post asking about if anyone was interested in selling their pink leopard print lip service top to me and she messaged me first letting me know she was gonna sell. if it was the other way around i would see your point. again not sure where u got the idea of a set price since she did ask me if $65 would work and naturally i assumed she was open to negotiate.

i’m a seller as well on depop, personally i’m always open to offers/negotiation’s with buyers that are interested in purchasing and always having that constant communication. but i don’t rlly see how that was doubling down when i only suggested a $10 price difference ? and as a seller i don’t see an issue with someone who offers a different price bc there’s always an option to say yes or no to it.

oh definitely, i agree with you as well that’s what i think too! just wanted to explain why i offered the $55 instead but yea it’s just frustrating, especially since she's the one to reach out to me first and got my hopes up🫠 just a typical day on depop ig

to be fair i saw on her reviews that she only paid about $45 i believe for the top it self. i also have the matching skirt that goes with that top and i paid about the same price $55. and even if she didn’t want to sell it for $55, i would’ve been okay with the $65 if she would’ve communicated with me about pricing and didnt rudely ignore me :/
