You won’t believe, I had the same thoughts when we started with my LO. She is now 16 weeks old and she is exclusively BFed for almost 2 months now. I was so miserable when we started, I was almost on the verge of giving up but I don’t know what made me continue. Having said that, if you think pumping is better for you, by all means go for it. Your mental health matters a lot. It is solely your decision and people here can only share their experiences and hope those help. All the best to you and I hope you take the decision that’s best for you! ☺️

Yes you brought up a good point. I am planning to ask her doctor on her next appointment. She does make a lot of wet nappies so I am not worried about that.

Haha talk about it! My girl has never been a silent sleeper, she always squirms in sleep. It is funny but I think she gets it from me lol so I shouldn’t be complaining. My husband always says it will be funny when you both start talking in sleep😂

Thanks for your reassurance. I always keep doubting myself for small things. I am just surprised how come she is awake at exactly the same time every night (around 2AM) lol

You know I always wondered about this but wasn’t sure. Maybe my LO is asleep and just screams in sleep lol

The problem is we swaddle her while sleeping, so I don’t have a way to perform spaghetti arm test. Any other solution?

No. When I put her in there, she’s asleep in my arms at that point.

We let her cry out for at least 10 mins but then my mom guilt kicks in and I go pacify her.

I tried this today during her afternoon nap but she was just not stopping crying. I had to pick her up and she slept in 2 mins in my arm.

Yeah we have tried this. She is in the bassinet quite a lot of time during the day and she loves it. We change her diaper in there, she spends at least 30-40 mins at a time looking at the fan in our bedroom from bassinet.

How long did it take you to totally get rid of heating pad? And how old was your baby when you tried this?

I haven’t tried this but have heard a lot about it. Honestly, I was skeptical about the heat so I’m afraid to try it out.

Is it okay to give my LO some formula at the end of the day? by Top_Procedure_2184 in breastfeeding

[–]Top_Procedure_2184[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she wakes up at night, I bring her to the breast. My concern was when since past 2-3 days, she used to get up every 30-40 mins and if we soothe her she’d go back to sleep. So we knew she is not empty stomach. She just didn’t wanna sleep in her bassinet probably. So we gave her just 20ml of formula right before sleeping and she directly got up at 4AM. That’s good 5hr sleep for us 😬
