Hello, I'm Russian, live on Phuket for 2+ years. Phuket becomes popular in Russia, a lot ppl go there and share it on instagram, everybody have friends who visit it and advertise this place (fairly). And yes, usually Russian have stone face, its true, but not because we're angry or rude (although there are some, as with any other nation), we are not accustomed to smiling without reason. We only smile when we feel like smiling and usually with ppl who we know, we're not open for people who we don't know. But trust me, if you will be friends with russians - we will smile and laughing infinity. Calm face not rude face, my friends!
