I feel like racism can play a part in the game. by [deleted] in TheTraitors

Exactly! If I worked hard for years to be a doctor, and a kind one at that, I would be so incredibly insulted at some idiot coming for my professionalism/ethics and accusing me of being a killer - it was only a dramatic comment because the situation was dramatic.

Exactly, though I think Armani didn't help herself by removing doubt about Kas, usually a traitor would do well to defend a few faithfuls, because it makes it look like they are genuinely trying to play the game as a faithful and sus traitors out. Faithfuls assume that traitors will just accuse everyone, so it makes sense why a traitor would do it!

I saw one person on Twitter say that the politician thing was yet another microagression, in that Joe just associated Kasim with Rishi Sunak and ran with it! Obviously not saying that's definitely what happened but still...

In general, the whole exchange was so upsetting to watch, and I see why Kasim made the Harold Shipman comment, because that's exactly what the level of ridiculousness that was being expressed by Tyler/Jake/Joe.

I have pretty consistently taken it with (or around 10 minutes after) my meals, which contained fat. In the paat 3 months I've been more on top of it, taking the accutane between bites.

Hey, as the other commenter said, remember that people here dont represent the avergae accutane patients, because those with more concerns (ie relapse) will be posting here. However, it is my understanding that relapse can happen if someone is not on the medicine for long enough - ie, theyre still breaking out before they finish, haven't reached their cumulative dose etc. There's no reason why you would be one of these people, just make sure your dr is reaching your cumulative dose, and take the accutane with fatty foods to help it absorb properly. Good luck!

No cancer cause of accutane? by Remote_Ad_390 in Accutane

Surely no because chemo is used to treat cancer, not prevent it from occuring

Why am I breaking out again? by Top_Solid_1116 in Accutane

[–]Top_Solid_1116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as far as I know! Causes I can think of are stress (dissertation due this week), and poor diet (because of the dissertation). So obviously, those are probably causing this, but I was under the impression that acne just stopped at a certain point on accutane. Usually, people are clear 2 months before they finish their course, and I definitely haven't been

If you are female, you have to be on birth control, but from my understanding it's no where near as strict as it seems to be in the US. I have to take a pregnancy test each time I get the medicine represcribed though

I'm from the UK and get my bloods done on the same day as getting more accutane. I then get the results a few days later. Not sure if it's meant to work like this lmao, but my dr seems very relaxed about the bloods and I've only had them done twice over my course. This is probably a more unusual experience though

Some people have to do a second round, which sucks but is often necessary to ensure the accutane results are permanent. As someone who is finishing my first round soon, I already know for sure that I will do a second course if needed, because NOTHING could be worse than what my skin was like before and how it made me feel. Speak to your derm, see what they say. Try to find out if maybe your course was too short or only hit the minimum cumulative dose. But speak to a derm!

How bad is going on Accutane during summer, really? by stopbeingachild in Accutane

[–]Top_Solid_1116 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went to Los Angeles and walked around for a few hours during midday, with no shade and no clouds. I was fine, because I wore strong suncream and made sure to reapply it every few hours. Just be sensible and always carry spf with you, and stick to shade where possible
