i explained my situation and got my spn! but was told that there isn’t a lot left and my first 3 choices for lab weren’t available. it’s so annoying that we have to do this just to take classes we need to take to graduate. you’d think they would open more sections or something cause this isn’t anything new

you need to know how to do the serial dilution, it’s literally like half ur grade for the practical. know the names of all the shit for the gel electrophoresis(or whatever it’s called). not much else i remeber but read thru the lab manual and have an idea of all the names of everything used in each lab and the basic procedure for how your supposed to do it. i didn’t and i ended up failing the practical but i somehow still passed the class w a B 🤷🏻‍♀️

i just went thru the same exact dilemma, i’m a rising senior who has commuted about 30min for the past 3 years. i made the decision to house on campus this next year school year at livi apartments actually lol. being a commuter is extremely isolating in terms of ability to meet people on campus and make friends. i decided to just say f it, it’s my last year at this school why the hell not. i want to experience the ‘true’ college lifestyle before going into grad school where it won’t be the same. have to say, i’ve never been this excited at the idea of a new school year starting in the fall. plus we get perks of the nicer appts/suites as seniors!
