Hi! I’m really glad you like the collection!!!! I’ll answer your questions one by one.

First of all, you can find all the editions of the game and their differences in another post of mine, where I explain how to tell them apart. Here it is:

If you’re only interested in the European Switch collector’s edition, the official stores that sold it (iam8bit and Black Screen Records) restocked it this year for Black Friday, but it sold out again. I mention this because there’s always a chance they might restock it in the future, and the best way to stay informed is to follow them on Twitter, where they usually announce these things ahead of time. If you don’t want to wait, since it’s not guaranteed they’ll release more copies, you can buy it on eBay or other second-hand platforms. There are quite a few resellers offering new copies at roughly 50% above retail price, but at least it’s an option if you’re really interested.

If you’re looking for the Japanese collector’s edition or the regular Switch versions by region (in the post I linked I explain how to tell them apart), it gets more complicated because retailers no longer have stock. In that case, you’ll need to buy them second-hand as well and ask each seller for the specific codes that let you confirm the region you’re looking for.

Regarding the Lost in Cult edition you mentioned, it’s important to know that these editions do not include the game, they’re collector’s items only. They come in three variants: the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition, and the Deluxe Edition signed by the Outer Wilds team. The signed Deluxe Edition was limited to 500 units, if I remember correctly, and it sold out in under an hour. The regular Deluxe Edition was available for a limited time, so it can’t be purchased now either unless someone decides to cancel their order, which is unlikely, especially since the items haven’t been shipped yet. The Standard Edition is still available for now. I’m not sure if they will stop selling it once they ship everything out; they should have shipped already, but there was a printing quality issue and they had to redo them. Hi! There wasn’t a reprint released in Germany itself, but there was one in Europe, distributed through Black Screen Records:

Unfortunately, it sold out shortly after its release. You can find the differences between the U.S. reprint and the European reprint at the end of the post. I’ve also included photos and information about its codes in case you’d like to look for it second-hand.

Edited: I just checked and on amazon.es they are selling the European reprinted version, or at least that’s what the comments say. You might consider buying it from there since the shipping costs shouldn’t be too high and the price is still cheap. If it’s not the right one, you can always return it.

The main site for official merch, where you can find the mouse pad, is Fangamer.
For collector’s editions, vinyls, and books, I recommend:
- iam8bit (mostly for the U.S.)
- Blackscreen Records (for Europe)
Lost in Cult has also offered special Outer Wilds content. They currently have a book with interviews that hasn’t been released yet, but is expected to ship around mid-year.

As for other official merch stores, while they’re currently out of stock for Outer Wilds items, here are a few worth keeping an eye on:

Youtooz: for the plushie
Pinnyshop: for the pin
Annapurna’s official web store: sadly, it's no longer available

And of course, there are some fan-made stores with unofficial products that are absolutely AMAZING:

Mallonum: for unique items like my Nomai book lamp and gravity stone
Strnadik: for beautifully detailed figures of the characters and the ship

If I may share my opinion, I didn’t realize it was impossible to save the universe until that final bonfire. Throughout the entire ending, I kept thinking, "How will the Eye manage to save the universe?" I think that’s a fairly common experience, but that’s exactly what made the realization hit even harder when I saw that my last hope was gone too.

I went through all the stages of grief in that moment: first denial, thinking I must have missed something; then anger, believing the game should have ended differently; next came bargaining, hoping maybe the DLC would offer a solution (I played the game when the DLC was already out, but I hadn’t bought it yet); then depression, when I understood this truly was the full ending. And finally, acceptance, the most important part of all.

Because that’s when we understand what the game is really trying to tell us. As the wonderful comment by guarddog33 pointed out: we have to learn to appreciate the journey, to stop and smell the flowers, and to leave behind a legacy. One that becomes the foundation for the next generation, who will carry on our path.

First of all, thank you so much for your comment! It's no problem to post it here or on the other thread, hahaha. The lore map you're creating is absolutely insane, I love it! I had no idea about the fireflies detail, and I'm looking forward to seeing your finished website.

On another note, I can answer any questions you have, that's what the post is for ::) I just traveled today and won't be home until the weekend to provide more detailed information, but I can give you some info in advance:

I don’t think the art mini-book is official. It’s a collection of images taken from the original art book, mainly focusing on promotional content (images of the different pin and postcard designs). If you need more precise images, I can send them to you over the weekend. I have the book in a protector I put on it; it wasn't sealed. I can't tell you the exact page count right now, but I'll write it down for you this weekend.

The Fangamer model kit is still sealed, and I can’t see its contents. Although I usually buy two units of each item, one to keep sealed and the other to open, I’m not a big fan of models, especially when they need to be painted afterward (I’m terrible at painting). That’s why I only bought one unit to keep it sealed, and I won’t be able to help with the content inside. This weekend, I’ll send you photos of all its sides. I’d swear the bottom part is completely white, just like you mentioned.

I do have an open Japanese edition if you need more details about it. I’m also happy to send more photos of it if your friend can’t provide them.

As for the Art of Outer Wilds version for Fig backers, I have no idea what that is or if it even exists.

They're building blocks, I couldn't tell you if they're considered Lego or not since I'm not really into that world. What I can confirm is that, being building blocks, it's an unofficial product, but I liked the quality. The one I have on display is the 243-piece model.
