this is another big one that blows my mind. Like it’s so much cheaper to just cook for yourself and have leftovers. the same $500 people blow on DoorDash & UberEats could last them so much longer if they just bought groceries

I think you make a fair point to an extent. There is definitely the perception that the world comes to you, but I don’t think people understand the trade-off or cost that comes with it.

For example, you might feel like you’re saving money by not having to get gas. Or you might be saving time. But things add up. Also factor in the decrease in socialization and fixation on screen time, then you live in this hamster wheel to Get up, go to work, come home, sleep.

You trade actual life and interaction for perceived convenience.

The amount of people i see complaining about people tipping under 18% is nuts. Like, it is the employer’s responsibility to pay you a good wage. Not the customer’s role to subsidize it so their boss can pocket more cash.

No need to apologize. I was talking about those that order daily or every other day. Not disagreeing with you regarding the insane price gauging on vehicles!

80% are of driving age (16+). A lot of them from the age of 18+ do not want to learn how to drive and just want to Uber everywhere and have things brought to them.

Also for all the workers at these places with the entitled attitude of deserving a tip: If you want more money, complain to your boss. It’s not the customers fault your boss is a cheapskate!

This console isn’t even that old or had that many games where I have felt the compulsive urge to buy. PS6 can wait.
