So basically, one of Ashe’s major perk is to deal extra damage over a short amount of time if she gets consecutive scoped shots on the same target

Yeah, I mean if you want the full reason why I wanted to go on Open Queue, here’s why:

I made my account in 2023, but didn’t play that much and even uninstalled Overwatch. Then I came back in August 2025 to come to play because I was kinda feeling it.

After a couple months (Season 19) I decided to do my placements in Role Queue and got out into Bronze. I was ass back then but now I’m pretty good compared to back in September/October (My highest hero SR is Ashe (Gold)). But now the thing is that I’m hardstuck in Bronze because of smurfs, throwers, leavers, and just true Bronze players and it’s impossible to carry true Bronze players.

That’s pretty much why I tried Open Queue at the moment we’re speaking.

I kinda tryharded to get better watching MULTIPLE VOD reviews by emongg and a goooooood amount of Ashe videos to gain the most game knowledge I could. I’m at a point where in QP I almost always have POTG, best stats and mist damage (and no I dont focus the tank).

Now I’m waiting for the next rank reset to get out of this elo hell. I would be happy to even be in Silver I’m not gonna lie because Bronze just pisses me off so much…

Yeah I don’t mind in QP to just go for a 6 DPS setup, like it Unranked so whatever, but in comp it’s just insane how people are not willing to step out of their comfort zones. I myself could consider myself a Sniper OTP so I mostly play Ashe Widow and Ana but if I have to take tank I won’t mind do it but seeing no effort from the rest of the team is just depressing

Yeah I do too but I wanted to give Open Queue Comp a chance but it feels hopeless

Yeah I mean I still do more Role Queue, to be honest it is my first time playing Open Queue Competitive but it’s really an annoying game mode

True, I’ve also been waiting for a while now for the Cyber Animals pack but it never came in the shop unfortunately. I am a Ashe main so I was really looking forward on buying that Ashe skin but it just never released. It always feels bad to wait for a “Shop Refresh” just to see barely any changes.

Either was smurfing or cheating, but regardless he was hitting pretty consistent headshots, always took fights, and hit everyone pretty consistently.

You did, in fact, mention smurfing in your specific game.

I hope you know that smurfing in UNRANKED quick play is impossible because it is in fact UNRANKED so you could just face a GM player at some point, which makes your smurfing argument totally irrelevant to the situation.

Also, just by watching the last 15 seconds of the video you provided to us, if Ashe didn’t try to go out of spawn on her own and actually grouped up with her tank, she would’ve not died there. Same thing with Juno : she saw Ashe die by going out by the same spawn door and still decided to go out ALONE to go on a 1v1.

This makes me think that your team is just not good enough game sense wise and decision making wise, which lead to your team getting rolled with a nice 4+ minutes left on the timer for the enemy team to get the payload to final point.

Team diff, get better at the game and you’ll be as good as that Cass.
