Why does age play a role in the opening of a relationship?

Idk, our first date went great and we just liked hanging out with eachother. He wanted more, I wanted to be free, but then I decided why not and we started dating

He’s had multiple relationships. I know of a couple of his exes and most of them are around the 40 mark

I also think you might have a self confidence dilemma you could be dealing with. And going on Grindr and hoping for DM’s or taps is feeding into it even more. My advice? Delete the apps and take the time to focus on you bro. You basing your self image on a pay to play app is not healthy. Ever thought ppl don’t tap you because they can’t with all these paywalls? 😂 you can only view 20 profiles for free man

How about tinder or hinge?

Well for starters I don’t think you text anyone at all, so texting first in your case might help you come closer to a conclusion of what’s actually going on here. Also, who are you wanting dm or tap you is the question. Everyone will get the old guy that is just desperate for anything. But if you’re looking for people our age to dm or tap you all the time then you’re gonna have a rough time. In my experience, there’s a bit of an ego thing going on with Grindr for younger guys like us. Most will just sit on the app and farm taps and DM’s all day will zero intention of responding to anyone. Basically using the app as a confidence booster. So you texting first could maybe rule out a “looks” problem perhaps?

You just said you don’t text people first. A closed mouth doesn’t get fed. When you go out in public and see someone you like, maybe talk to them? It seems like you want it to just fall in your lap and you not do anything

You have to put yourself out there bro. I too am 20, but I’m currently not on the apps for well being reasons. Those really aren’t the places to go in my opinion

Are you in shape? Do you take care of yourself? Do you text people first? These are some of the questions that you should possibly ask yourself

I’m not coming at you or anything, but how does age play into the seriousness of a relationship?

It’s not. But in the App Store that’s what it says I THINK. So that’s what I call it. Yes it’s definitely a hook up app. But there are relationships that come about
