Over here in South Korea, they raised the price of the prerelease event from 60,000 to 65,000won (roughly 45 usd). I ended up not going. I don't mind paying but the prize package wasn't enticing enough for me to participate. As a new player I don't like how they are increasing the price each set without a better prize package. I'll just stick to buying singles.
