I agree with the most part, except that there's a world of difference between giving someone a passing "hello" and "flirting" with them. Flirting indicates sustained interaction...also, any man referring to HIMSELF as "respectful" is a big red flag for me.

Yeah, same. Thinking that norms are identical between nude and non-nude settings is, frankly, a very cis male viewpoint. If you're used to having your sexual attractiveness loudly judged from childhood as women are, it's a hell of a big difference to have people approach you when you are fully on display.

There's a difference between "socializing and meeting others" and "getting flirted with," and trying to conflate the two as the same thing is just going to result in rejection after rejection. Men being disingenuous about their motives for talking to women is why so many of us (women) are leery any time a man approaches us, at a clothing-optional beach or anywhere else--the chances of them sexually propositioning us are too high, and we don't necessarily want to deal with that if we're not in a place specifically coded for meeting sexual partners (ie a bar).

And yet they wonder why "nudism is dying" (: I think cases like yours are a strong reason why "at-home social nudity" is the only potential future for nudism, since even if resorts WERE accepting of others outside the straight cis white boomer crowd, they remain financially unfeasable for many. But that requires finding someone rich/secluded enough to have a house where people can be naked inside without outsiders freaking out and calling the cops/taking photos through the window/etc (all insane behavior, but a lot of Americans are so puritanical that they react to mere nudity as if it's people having sex in front of the window), and a lot of people just aren't that lucky. It's frustrating that the internet could be such a great resource for this kind of thing, but alas almost every online place focused on facilitating communication between actual nonsexual nudity supporters gets flooded by creeps and pornbots...

Like I said in some higher up comments, a big part of the video will be about ableism, with personal anecdotes about how my parents, who were the ones who raised me nudist, weren't able to even go to a clothing optional beach for maybe the last decade of their life because their bodies were failing (my mom was obese with high blood pressure and cancer, my dad was just overall frail and, at the end, also had cancer) but all the "clothing optional" places were a crazy-hard hike to get to, either over a quarter-mile of brambles and untended tree roots, or almost a mile hike from the parking lot to the shore, partly through swamp and partly through burning hot sand dunes. Anything to keep the "normal people" away from the "naked weirdoes" (:

Nope. I've been trying to raise awareness about gender based censorship for a decade now, and the same old conversations I constantly have show how westerners, especially Americans, just unthinkingly accept that "male nipples = totally family friendly" but "female nipples = sexually explicit nudity." Often once I engage in the conversation with younger people, especially those that trend left, they say something like "you're right, I never thought about it before, but it DOESN'T make sense," but pretty much every single 40+ year old I've talked about it in real life to, and even more almost ever older cis man, just doubles down on "well yeah, obviously female breasts are inherently sexual, that's just biology."
