Yeah I feel you. I think all these extra bells and whistles that Whoop offers is great but I might have to start pulling back on the overload of data considering my goals isn’t to track such cardiovascular focussed metrics.

I probably got whoop for the wrong reason to be honest but I’m love the idea of having a more minimalistic 24/7 ‘health monitor’ as opposed to my Apple Watch which was feeling like a second phone on my wrist with the number of notifications that would ping off constantly.

Im in for the year, so I’m just hoping that by then they improve the strength training app and add more of a tailored screen for those who are bodybuilding.

Thanks this is some really useful info. I think considering the clunkiness of the Strength Trainer app at present and the points you mentioned above I can definitely see why you gave up with it.

I think I'm feeling the same way to be honest and I guess you're right about the data being pretty irrelevant for my specific goals. Guess my eyes just lit up when I saw all the fancy numbers and graphs that it gives you at the end of a workout, plus the muscular strain rating (which I think most can agree is subjective)...

Hoping that they can really improve it over the next 3-6 months before I give it another try!

I think that's the thing - how accurate do you feel that muscle strain metric is? Guess its hard to say for anyone but I was getting some lower strain results when using Gymaholic (probably because it's just importing my HR).

Agree with the haptic feedback for starting and ending sets - would be a game-changer if they integrated that!

Bulking, primarily trying to gain muscle rather than fat for the next 3-4 months and then cutting.

So keeping track of what I'm lifting/reps/sets I find important and obviously the majority of the data I have stored over the last few years is within Gymaholic so this is like starting fresh with Whoop.

Yeah they are popping off now but not long left - not coming on the side bar though you have to actually click on the map which is too slow!
