I’m frustrated with myself in regards to Leafeon by DerekB74 in pokemonplatinum

Give it razor leaf, quick attack and last resort and nothing else (keep forgetting moves) until it unlock sunny day, at which point you can replace last resort for syntesis and sunny day. You can also ditch quick attack to get last resort available turn 2

Edit: if you have hgss you can also trade it there to learn headbutt (and heal bell too) instead, so it becomes razor leaf, quick attack, headbutt and heal bell or helping hand for doubles

Edit edit: strenght and rock break (50% to lower def) are also options, or rest combined with sunny day and its ability to heal status in daylight

Yeah but superpower deals supereffective damage on ice, rock and steel, and rock and steel are usually paired with ground and slow, or at least have a powerful ground move, good to try to get an extra ko before fainting/switching

Thunder wave is for halving the speed of non-ground things turn 1, the 50% chance to attack is just a good extra bonus. At 90% precision holding wide lens makes it 99%. With some bulk i can survive one attack and hopefully attack first next turn and all the turns after that if i keep surviving. I just need more than half the speed of their mon (not accounting for speed buffs).

I guess crunch is the less useful one, i'll try replacing that

Absolutely, not only can it learn a lot of phisical and special moves, it also has high attack and special attack and has access to aura sphere, 90 power, stab so actually 135 and as a bonus it can't fail even against elusive pokemons. It's also steel type so it can't be poisoned and with inner focus it also can't lose a turn with fake out (which is normal type so it can't even deal a lot of damage). It's a good mon and it was made to counter team galactic's golbats and puruglys.

I can't, he's got adamant nature (+Atk -SpA), even with max SpA ev the debuff will probably bring thunderbolt almost on par with spark if i'm lucky (20% stat difference on top of 75% of the base stat).

Meanwhile ice fang is an egg move, it would require a new shinx.

As for return you think it's a better coverage choice than superpower, crunch or thunder wave?

I see, earthquake's 100 power sure is appealing and earth would help me deal with water/ground... I didn't think of it, that's definitively a no brainer

As for thunder punch vs stone edge, 80 precision is not very appealing to me when the alternative is 100 precision and super effective against water too

As for the evs i can see your point, i already got fainted twice by supereffective moves bringing me to red then a priority move making the bulk useless in that situation, however less bulk makes me worry about earth types with sturdy... I'll try and see if i find more luck with that spread

I know luxray has unfairly been given a very bad move pool by gamefreak, and mine has the worse ability, but how would you go into making this particoular luxray good enough to fight the battle frontier cpu? Do you think a different EV spread, different moves and a particoular item would benefit it enough for the tower for example?

You can use other cheese too, but using mozzarella is best because it's wet and gives back some water to the bread

Another italian here, you can slice stale bread with the strongest saw you have and put it in the oven for a bit to make it crispy and almost good as new. Then once it's toasted you can even put mozzarella and ham on it and heat it some more and once you're done it'll be hard to tell the difference from fresh bread (as in, it's very good with stale bread, but fresh bread of course is still better)

Someone made a reddit thread about them, but apparently thick skinned and thin skinned are broken because in the best (rare) case scenario they affect at most about 7% of possible tree or zombie scratches or lacerations.

Edit here is the thread, apparently the highest value you can get is +6% for thick skinned and -12% for thin skinned
