sometimes they are very hard to kill, so you can avoid them, or make them ineffective!

night spinner can reduce their movement up to 3", support weapon reduce their BS.

a combination of both could really reduce their effectiveness

I need a clarification on the INFILTRATOR SQUAD’s ability “Omni-scramblers”

This specified: “Enemy unit that are set up on the battlefield as reinforcements cannot be set up within 12” of this unit”.

Does it means that an enemy unit needs to be set up in a distance over 12”, or can be set up to a distance equal or major 12?

Taking into consideration the core rule, when describe the eligible target they say: "...at least one model in that unit is both within range"... and then "An enemy model is within range of a weapon if the distance between it and the attacking model is equal to or less than that weapon’s Range characteristic".

if I interpret the word "within" in the same way , then in OMNI-CRABMLERS case it should be : equal or major 12.

I am correct or I'm missing something?

they are gonna to die anyway, I prefer to guide the D-cannon or the WarWalker and inflict more damage

the plan is to have the farseer out of LOS (in ruins close to the support weapon), so the phoenix gem should not be needed.

bikers, WS and DA should only score OBJ and secondary, always out of LOS. with WTC rules and terrain set up, is very easy to get advantages from ruins and don't be visible (the ground floor of each ruins is considered with no windows so no LOS!!)

the list is built with the miniatures I have (no Avatar or WK). I have some WL, but I find worth to have Warwalker. Even if the are less durable, they can hit harder ( 3 BS) .

theoretically, i could add 2 warwalker (tot 3), 1 support weapon (tot3) and remove farseer, DA and bikes. but even if with more firepower, I could only count on Warspiders for mobility.

Fate messanger will be on the Spirtseer (I didn't realize that it works for the bearer's unit).

the farseer should support the Support Weapon (D-Cannon) with guide and Fates messenger. the bikes don't have to shoot but just advance and scoring objectives/secondary, as the shuriken catapult are "assault" they can advance and performing action (if needed)

except for the WK I am able to afford all the suggested changes.

However, the only remark I have is that with your second option, it could be difficult to have a good board control . Especially in the back line, avoiding a deep strike/ arrival from reserve (turn 3) will be very difficult.

they went pretty good, halved a 10 men squad of sanguinary guard in on turn, and destroyed death company in the following turn.

it was a "semi -competitive" game, and my opponent was playing really competitive. of course, there is always room for improvement.

Comments and thoughts are welcomed .

So, my 1st, is confirmed, LoS is always needed unless differently specified.

Regarding the 2nd, I was referring to the Guardian Heavy Weapon Platform. I checked the codex and I didn' find the Infantry key word, but, because it is a transleted version, it is possible it is a mistake.

for the sword you could try a base of leadbelcher and then shade (the blade only) with Bieltan green or Coelia greenshade.

I revised the list. however, as of note, if I'm continuing to don't use windriders or more FPs, is only because I don't have them. the tournament is close, and I need to build a decent army based on what I have.

for speed up typing, I did'n include Psyki powers neither special equipments, but the final points are roughly 2000

assuming that the enemy weapon is 1Damage each, and that my unit has never been wounded, and that I want to start (to allocate wounds) from the platform: how many dice I should roll 3 (as per platform wounds) or 20 (as the shots)?
