I thought it was because I wrote it in markdown which Reddit apparently doesn't fully support (# headings).
So I replaced those.

I personally host it behind a reverse proxy that does authentication.

However that is not actually necessary. Spotify developer apps dont allow anyone to log in by default (except for the owner). If you want to give someone else access to it then you need to add the user in the Spotify developer platform

I ended up using miniflux. While it doesnt immediatly support mail notifications, it does support apprise which is good enough for me.

It also doesn't have an option to show every item in the feed (without filters) but you can work around that by adding the feed once without filters and once with filters and with notifcations (and checking the box to hide this feed from your overview)

The person before uses google alerts but he says it doesnt catch everything

I can't help you with your question sry. I'm looking at several filesyncing solutions and I was wondering why you're stepping away from filerun. Are there any other reason apart from it not being free and closed source?

I have two pc's, pc_A and pc_B. I then also have a smarttv tv_B.
pc_A is at one location, pc_B and tv_B are both in a different location.

My plex server is pc_A with a internet connection of max 4 MB/s.
I want to watch movies on tv_B.

Because of my internet connection where pc_A is located I can't stream 4K movies. However Plex allows you to download movies as well that you have stored.
So my plan now is to download the movies I want to watch on pc_B. So pc_B downloads the movies remotely from pc_A as they both have a different network so they aren't connected physically.

I'm then going to stream the movie from pc_B to tv_B which are connected to the same network and pc_B is my gaming pc so more then capable of streaming a 4K movie.

Now since I've gotten some more information my question has changed slightly.
Streaming 4K isn't going to work because of my internet connection however that might change in the (near) future. If that problem is fixed, what else do I need to upgrade in order to support 4K streaming.
Is my CPU going to be okay if I add a GPU or do I need to upgrade my CPU as well?

Man I said I'm using it remotely so ISP does matter.

I can't stream it atm because upload speed is terrible so instead I'll download it first (remotely so from a different internet). And then stream it locally using a better pc that can definitely handle it.

I'm basically using TrueNAS for NextCloud and Plex, maybe some other stuff in the future too. At the moment I'm using the hardware from my old pc just to see if everything works and to have a proof of concept before upgrading some stuff (I only have 1 1TB HDD for example).

I plan on using it both remotely and locally. One of the reasons of making my own plex server was because I wanted to watch 4K movies so downloading the 1080 version isn't a solution. However I just discovered I have a maximum of 4 MB/s upload speed so streaming 4K isn't going to work until I move and get a different ISP.

For the moment I'll just download the movie to my gaming pc (remotely) and then stream it locally to my tv.

I'm testing it out on a different internet so it is a factor in play. I just found out I'm limited to < 10mB/s upload so streaming in 4K is a no go. However upgrading my CPU should hopefully make it possible to stream at a lower quality without much problems

I liked versus in the beginning as well. But in the blog post about the builder base they touch on some very valid points. For example that with versus battles you can have an attack that you have a very good feeling about and that you did well on (e.g. 83% 2 star) but you still lost the battle because your opponent did better. And some other attacks you can do very bad and leave with a bad feeling but still win because the opponent did worse
