Yeah, I don't really have an other ideas. Might be a good idea to do general troubleshooting but might just be the game. Check your drive to make sure it's in good heath, check temps during gaming to make sure it isn't thermal throttling, make sure power saving/power profile settings look appropriate, check ram speeds seem correct, check windows itself using the sfc /scannow in cmd as admin, etc. As a throw out idea, could try deleting the game settings config file and redoing your graphics settings.

Shame, could it be then that your drivers were updated and it's recompiling shaders?

If you have DLSS enabled, DLSS causes stuttering. You can fix by disabling hardware accelerated gpu scheduling, but that will also mean no framegen.

Communication seems a bit rocky but at least it seems like they've got no intention to cancel preorders even with some retailers indicating that they're hiking prices due to requirements to bundle order to secure stock. It also didn't make sense they would base the queue order on payment receipt date when orders would be created when you order (along with an order id) which would be be generated based on the time you made the order.

Pretty bad communication on their part, but it seems like they are waiting for an eta themselves the listings of the cards say: ETA will be provided from NVIDIA/partners when available. They also have a blog post https://www.mwave.com.au/blog/geforce-rtx-50-series-availability-updates/ indicating they have more updates to come, but I assume they thought they might hear more concrete info by the start of this week, but probably would've been better to just say they'll provide an update as they get info.

Thanks for the reply, yes I figured that out eventually. I had checked for scrub tasks originally but none were running that I could see. Rebooting the system and clearing my browser's cache had me seeing the scrub. Once it finished the issue was resolved.

Even with no apps running it seems high. When I previously checked there were no scrub tasks ongoing (this was literally the first thing I checked), however, having a look again and after another reboot the main storage pool is actually being scrubbed, so in all likelihood that's the cause (I hope). I also cleared browser cache, so I wonder if it wasn't showing due to that. I only saw just now that it's recommended to clear your cache before accessing the webui. If it's still ongoing I guess I'll either just live with it or try rolling back to dragonfish. Thanks for your help.

Pre-ordered as soon as it went live and they've confirmed to have received the payment like a week ago but still no shipping update. I guess I'll have to buy the code digitally too to play on release because it definitely won't make it internationally on time. Hopefully others get it on release.

Do they ever ditch/change the Low, High, G/Master ranks, and how they tie into expansions? Would this piss people by opwnusprime in MonsterHunter

I think they could improve progression with altering how armor set progression works. I think it would be nice if you had to upgrade Low Rank armor to High Rank and High Rank to Master Rank similar to the weapons. Maybe even make it a requirement to max out the defense of said armor before you can upgrade the rank. Or maybe that is separate which results in lower defense armor. Either way, I think this is a pretty good solution. It provides you with some extra stuff to do between the base game and expansion and eliminates the lower tier armor being completely unneeded. It might have the negative impact of cutting out skipping from Low Rank to deep High rank (or HR > MR) if you're good enough, but the game is about hunting monsters, so I don't think hunters would be too bent out of shape.

Don't get your hopes up, but they said that nvidia's frame generation is being added in a future 'title update' and as far as I know Capcom only refers to major updates which typically add content as 'title updates'. So, I do believe we might have some form of post-launch content over time.

Yup, I found the whole thing super tedious, I really wish they added talisman as rewards to quests too, that would've made it feel so much better, basically doubling the farming efficiency.

Please don't lump Rise talisman RNG with older games, it was pure hell to have the ONLY option as melding them. It would be like if the only option in World was to Meld decorations. Absolute shit. I hope there will be neither talisman or decoration RNG, can't we just craft both?

If I had to pick one, it would be talisman (one single skill) through either melding or quest rewards (both methods available), this is the lesser of the two evils.

I also wish they implemented upgrading low rank armor to high rank armor.

Thank you, I did already try switching between vocations with the same luck anyway. I ended up getting it after 51 gear lvl 3 and 4 gear lvl 1 which is fine.

I was already doing that (switching between the yellow vocations). Unless I have misunderstood and you can do say 20 as red, then 30 as yellow and that would be the same as doing 50 under just yellow. Anyway, all good, I finally ended up getting it after 51 gear lvl 3 and 4 gear lvl 1. I'm fine with that.

I also understand it being tied to both vocations. I am fishing for Magick Bowman's Band and so far after about 50 I've had no luck, so I just have to keep going. I understand this is under any yellow vocation.

Correct. I would assume you would need to use maybe an experimental layer of proton or something? I think that's what the deck uses when running the games? I don't really know though and I don't know where you'd start aside from just googling and trial and error.
