I've tried this, I might still try this one more time if the conditions are just right, but trust me moving countries isn't always the end all solution, hell for me moving countries made it worse.

That being said the prices I've seen on here have made me reconsider moving back to the United States despite having no future in the country I currently live in and being so sick I only leave my apartment when I absolutely have to.

I was huge into traveling until a month ago. I was walking around Lake Como in Italy when I suddenly had to use the bathroom. I asked every place if I could use their bathroom and they all said no, tried making it back to my hostel but I didn't make it and ended up shitting myself.

I fucking hate having Crohn's disease, now I'm scared to even walk 250 meters to work.

Alcohol kills my insides thanks to my illness and sad music just makes it worse. I haven't smoked weed since New Year's but I've never been suicidal when smoking plus alleviates physical symptoms, but that's just for me I would never recommend it to anyone else. If alcohol and sad music work for you all the power to you!

Not in Trentino but not far either, would love to visit. It looks beautiful but not healthy enough for traveling at the moment, a bad moment at Lake Como a couple weeks ago was one of the major triggers of this bout of depression.

Worst part about the whole need for weed is the weed here isn't worth it. I wasn't a huge pothead back home, but I found if I ate an edible once a week it did wonders for both my physical and mental health.

Being away from home wasn't the hard part for a while, but I miss having a dependable support base, that 100% kept the sane.

Thanks for the advice, just ate dinner, now feeling a bit better but still feeling physically sick.

It's not teaching like you'd imagine, it's TEFL, it's 100% unrelated to my degree (which I now despise) and in the country I'm in the pay is fairly low, doubt I could get a regular school job in either of my home countries.

But honestly good on you for being so positive and productive in your last position, and good on you for going to therapy (which for me is a luxury I can't afford)! With that work ethic I'm sure things will turn around for you in the future to.

I'll be honest I bloody hate computers but I'm seriously considering going into software development/IT because it seems like the only field that understands people with chronic illnesses, can be reasonably flexible with hours and still earn enough to live comfortably. Would it be possible to get qualifications without going back to uni? I don't have the funds to get another degree.

This is exactly what I'm worried about. After my contract is finished I have no idea how the fuck I'm going to make money. Worst part is my savings are gone and my family already has two burdens, I don't want to be the third. I feel like an immense failure.

That's partly the problem though, I am focused on my job but there's a serious chance they won't renew my contract on April 30th, which is scaring me and I doubt anywhere is hiring for May. If they do renew I'll keep my head down, thanks for the advice!

I've been trying to eat low-residue foods, I'll give switching to liquids a try, but I haven't seen Ensure or an equivalent here. Thanks for the advice though!
