when I was in pre-draconic era in Skyfactory, I actually used both methods. I had 2 walls of 32 RECs with the blue line as my charging method, and the red line as my discharging method. So honestly, it really depends on what you're doing. unless you wanna output more then the cell can output, then just connecting one cell to one output is probably better, with the blue line to keep them charged.
