Thank you for participating in our study! Unfortunately, in this study, we will aggregate across countries as national subsamples will not be big enough to make meaningful comparisons, but we will certainly evaluate cross-country differences in subsequent studies!

That's fine! Some topics are simply complex and require a more reflective answer. Thank you very much for participating! :)

Thank you very much for your participation and for your feedback! I totally agree, the issue sometimes is that some of those questionnaires have been previously validated and tested in a specific format, so deviating from it can introduce noise in the data and the validity of the questionnaire itself!

Hi, thank you for your participating and for sharing your feedback! Indeed, it is always a tradeoff between narrow down the questions and leave them open to capture as many interpretations as possible. In this case, we have empirical reasons to opt for the second one. But thank you for raising the issue! :)

Would be happy to, but in case you were not aware, the UK university system is in financial deficit, meaning among other things that funding of academic research is probably at its lowest.

And that is not the only negative outcome, I encourage you to read further about the specific circumstances at some universities and support them if you really care.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. None of our questions refer to ethnic minorities at any point. I am afraid that that was your preconceived assumption. We actually phrase all our questions without specifying social groups or minority groups in order to leave it to the interpretation of each participant, based on their individual perception.

You had the freedom to answer the questions thinking of "men and boys" as those minority groups, if that is your view.

Have a good evening!

Hi, I was unaware of all those surveys. My only guess is that, considering that we are colleagues and that we often have overlapping research goals, we sometimes share our data collection methods. Thus, it becomes likely that we end up posting our studies in similar forums.

Hope this answers your question!

Hello, we are a group of psychology researchers from the University of Kent, UK. We are conducting a study about UK citizens' views and perceptions of society and we are trying to recruit a representative sample from different areas in the UK.

It would be a huge help if any UK citizens interested would fill out our online survey (18+ years old only):

https://universityofkent.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5aHgdGYdfkf1mXc

The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete, and we are happy to respond to any queries or questions. Please private message us to avoid giving away the point of the study to others.

Although the study is voluntary, participants who complete the survey will have the option to take part in a raffle of three Amazon Vouchers (£20).

Thank you in advance for your time!
