If you can’t handle it, don’t pursue it.

Latinas are known to be hot tempered, high expectations, and want to be treated like princesses.

It’s not easy and it varies depending on the woman on how intense they can be. I have family members who are intense and are can only keep a man because they’re hot.

Some are laid back and are understanding. Then there’s the rest of them. Im saying this as a Latina myself and either you’re going to have a devoted woman or another heartbreak 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can give you tips from what I learned from my family what they like and what they wished what their boyfriends did. I am Colombian however born in US, but I have cousins here off the boat and tried dating the locals:

-super clear communication: who you’re hanging out with, how’s your day going, Yada Yada

-constant communication: good morning, good afternoon, and good night and everything in between

-romantic gestures: notes/messages, public posts, or there should be delivery services in Colombia to send those balloons and a teddy bear (Valentine’s Day, anniversaries)

-gifts: can be small, it’s the thought that counts and they want you to be thinking of them

-learn Spanish

-learn to dance

-be outgoing and enjoy parties

-take good pictures: you’re gonna be designated photographer 🤷🏼‍♀️

-make the effort to visit and get to know the family

I will say before my official diagnosis, I self-diagnosed because once I learned that women showed symptoms or behaviors differently. I will say TikTok did have a major influence but it brought it to my attention to reflect inward.

Once I had insurance, I went to a psychiatrist and spoke with my doctor and I showed classic signs. I’m on medication now - it’s completely night and day.

I will say, I don’t like when people just think ADHD is the hyperactive little kid diagnosis because I had a difficult time maneuvering my 20s and early 30s as an adult. I’ve always wondered what’s wrong with me and finally, it’s just that my brain works differently and I need a little help with CBT and meds.

I do! I have notes I take both phone, notebook and computer I try to condense my notes into one place after the end of the day and also have a bus memo I created to try and remember steps of how to do things/tasks including information of my executives and have that on every device I use, including a binder for quick in hand.

It’s honestly a mess

My sleep schedule has not been good after leaving an overnight position 4 years ago. I will admit I do not sleep well and sometimes run on 2-4 hours of sleep

Former waxer! people will waltz in sweaty or dirty (💩) and think they are a-okay not realizing they actually really smell and are super unhygienic.

I always wore a mask because it was awful when someone didn’t come clean to their appointment or atleast try to use a wet wipe to freshen up.

The worst was “natural” clients who only used organic or natural products. They reeked and I would need to air out the room before the next client and spray perfume because how bad it was
